God damn excellent. 99% of you have never had dry aged t-bone in your miserable, pathetic lives. I have. Once. This was the second time so I know what I’m talking about. 4 euros per 100 grams of beef heaven. The side spinach was good but not amazing. The pasta with wild boar was also great value at 10’euro. Desserts were forgettable.

Recommended by our hotel. This place is a nice, affordable family run trattoria outside the touristy center of Florence with good food and a mellow vibe. My wife and and I shared the Steak Florentine, the roasted potatoes and an order of fried pumpkin flowers which were in season and quite good. House wine was drank. I would recommend and go again.

Wandered around this area trying to find a bite to eat with some travel mates. We walked down the street and decided to try this cozy looking family owned restaurant. Needless to say the family welcomed us in and the food, wine, and conversation flowed throughout the night. Honestly it really felt like eating at home and not at a restaurant. Down to the breakdown of the experience… Food — the florentine steak I ordered was cooked perfectly and was priced very fair. My other half ordered the pasta with the boar sauce and that was really good too. One of my travel mates was vegetarian and was raving over their ravioli. We’ve been here in Italy for nearly two weeks and we all agreed this was our favorite food thus far. Also as a side note, try to save some room for the dessert. Service — being a family owned I felt like we were adopted into the family within minutes. The parents don’t speak English well and no one in our party spoke Italian but somehow we were joking and laughing throughout. They were really attentive and had a great sense of humor. Good thing we were only here on vacation or this would be eating here frequently and I’d gain 50 pounds

Great little local place. We did not want a touristy dinner spot and this certainly fit the bill. We had a seafood spaghetti, the boar spaghetti, seafood raviolis and mussels & clams. Everything was very good and we would not hesitate to return.

Great little family owned place featuring simply prepared and delicious Tuscan fare. Get the house wine(red) and the steak or carbonara pasta. Really good tiramisu as well. We walked in without reservations around 7:30pm but were seated promptly and warmly. The son spoke good English and helps translate the hand-written sheet of daily specials. Good spot for a nice family outing or an informal meal with friends.

Excellent local food. Excellent service, friendly staff. You feel like you belong there even though actual English is a little sketchy. Spaghetti Carbonara was excellent, vegetable Tuscan soup and a plate of well prepared spinach kept our vegetarian friend in a happy state. Highly recommended, off the beaten tourist track.

Great cozy Italian trattoria with friendly servers. They had a wide variety of Tuscan offerings. We got the truffle and pasta dish, which was excellent, as was the pasta with wild boar sauce. That and a good house red made for an awesome meal.
