Promod Italia

Promod is one of the few clothing stores I ventured into in Florence. The window display caught my eye with a nice selection of monochromatic clothing. Very stylish clothes. Well of course, Promod is from France and it was nice to experience Parisian fashion, especially since I did not tour Paris on this trip.
The prices are so-​so. Kind of high end if you factor in the Euro exchange. There were also many sale racks but nothing in my size or to my liking. The clothes are similar to other Women’s chains like Express or H & M for the more trendy items. The style is best suited for casual sophisticated looks and office wear.
I’d love to go back with more Euros and suitcase space. In other words, this is store is filled with tourists and I fit right in. Not surprising though since this is a busy shopping street.

Oh, how I wish they had Promod in the US! Promod has the best of both worlds — fashionable Parisian/​European style clothes that actually fit to my figure and reasonable prices! It is probably in the middle between H&M and Zara in terms of pricing and quality, but Promod has a really unique and fashionista style that I love about it.
I stumbled upon Promod as we walk on this main street from the hotel and I knew I had to walk in. After forcing to control myself, I still managed to buy two items that were more than 50% off! I probably could have bought more, but my luggage space was limited!

Every now and then when I’m on my way to the station, I’ll pass by Promod and check out their clothes. They have really cute items and it is difficult to not want to try something on. In my experience they tend to run out of the smaller sizes quickly, so when sale time comes along it’s hard to find the item I want in my size.
The t shirts and pants are on the pricey side for the feel of the fabric. The quality feels and looks very similar to H&M (its top competitor), meaning jeans and cord pants are really thin. Also I would keep a look out for damage in the clothing (as I do in H&M)
The prices are similar to that of H&M, possible a bit higher. I usually browse the store now and then and come back when there is a sale. .. where things are up to 80% off. .. then prices tend to be a lot lower than H&M for the same quality.
On the positive side, it’s much less crowded here than H&M. .. and it doesn’t smell.

Ogni tanto quando sono sulla strada per la stazione, do’ un occhiata dentro un negozio dal titolo Promod e per vedere nuovi arrivi di abilimento. Hanno elementi molto carini ed è difficile resistire la tentazione di provare qualcosa. Per quanto mi riguarda loro finiscono troppo presto la taglie piccole che fanno al caso mio.
Le magliette e pantaloni dal mio punto di vista rispetto alla qualita del tessuti sono un po’ cari. La qualità sembra molto simile alla merce di H & M, che essendo cosi vicini risultano in diretta concorenza (sana per i clienti). La mia preoccupazione quando entro in questo negozio (H&M anche) è di controllare che i capi non abbiano buchi o scusciture perche’ talvolta mi è capitato, niente di grave.
I prezzi sono simili a quello di H & M, talvolta un po ‘più alto. Io di solito gironzolo nel negozio e torno di tanto in tanto per vedere se c’è una svendita.. .perche a volte i sconti possono essere al 80%
Il lato positivo di questo negozio è che è molto meno affollato di H & M.. . e non puzza
