Tourist trap! Don’t be allured by the mounds of gelato of this place. I thought the mounds were decoration, but now I think that is because they were never able to sell out any of their gelato. I had mango and some other flavor which I don’t care to remember. You can taste that they used syrup for flavor. Besides that the gelato was so unbearably sweet that I threw it away after a few bites. € 2.50 wasted. My friend also threw away theirs as well due to the same reasons. Another € 2.50 wasted. This place is a disgrace to the name of gelato!

so i’m so upset with this place that i’m sitting here on my honeymoon in the hotel room writing about this place!
so i was being quite selective on where to try gelato at. many other shops close by didn’t have a big variety which led me here. peeked through the window and i saw a few people eating inside so figured it can’t be that bad.
saw the prices $ 2.50 euro for a small. i asked if they allowed samples. the female staff said yes 1 sample per person.
so the husband and i asked for a sample of the banana and the grapefruit. he ended up getting the coffee (which totally looked melted) and i asked for half a scoop of banana and half a scoop of grapefruit. i requested small for both.
she rang us up and it was 9 euros! i was like wait the sign said 2.50 euros. she said yes that’s for a small size. i said we asked for a small she said no you got the bigger size. what in the world!!! totally disregarded my request for a small. grabbed me a medium making me think i got a small and charged me for a freaking medium.
the kicker… she gave me grapefruit and lemon not banana. so let’s just say i was a very unhappy camper. we were pissed because 9 euros is over $ 10 US dollars and it wasn’t even good and we threw more than half away. we wouldn’t have been this pissed off if they got my order correct or if the gelato was tasty.
a business like this should not be allowed to stay open. first off you did not educate me on the price difference. nor did you tell me you grabbed me a medium. i never asked to sample lemon why would you give me lemon. you totally took advantage of me and my husband because we are foreigners.
if i can. this place will get 0 stars from this Unilocaler! because they do not LISTEN! even if there may be a language barrier you should’ve clarified. but i know its not a language barrier because i saw another staff do that to another customer. she kept saying small and he kept holding the medium cup until he grabbed the small cup. these people rip you off!!! be warned!!!
