first time came here, it’s expansive and foods are so so, just like normal American style sushi restaurant. Maybe other good reviews is because this is one of the few «better» japanese restraunt in Italy.

I’m from San Francisco, which is a city with a bit of a sushi ego. This place was 3 blocks from my hotel so I tried it after having my fill of Tuscan food all week. Pretty impressed — the special rolls were tastefully done with fairly good fresh fish. Soba yako was a bit greasy but very flavorful. An awesome place in Florence to take a break from Italian food!

Finally a really good sushi restaurant in Florence. This one currently tops my list. The menu has a lot of things on it that I haven’t seem since I left Canada 10 years ago! In particular, for those who are not entirely convinced by raw fish, there are numerous options with cooked salmon, which I had and it was such excellent quality, I am still salivating three weeks later.
The sushi rolls are the best I have had in the city, good quality seaweed and delicate rolls, just the right balance of rice and filling.
The location is tiny and set up primarily with tables for two, and in fact this is a great location for a date or night out as a couple, for a special occasion.
