This place was recommended to us by a tour guide. Everyone had said we had to try spaghetti while we were here, so I ordered the spaghetti. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t overly impressed. The noodles weren’t spaghetti noodles, they were like a cross between penne and fusilli; and the sauce was just okay, it wan’t amazing like I was expecting and hoping it would be. The other thing that really bothered me was that they had brown lunch bags filled with bread. Our waiter or the guy who seated us never mentioned it, and maybe we should have asked, but we saw several other tables opening their bags and eating the bread so we each had one piece from the bag. We had eaten two total, and they quite small. When our check came, we were charged about four euros for the two pieces of bread. I was pretty annoyed. Everywhere else we ate in Europe, if there was bread or something on the table, or if they brought it out to you, it was included. Plus 4 euros is kinda expensive for two small pieces of bread. I wouldn’t come here again.

I ate dinner here with a large group. We were served salad, appetizer, entrée, and dessert. As a vegetarian, I ate steamed veggies with a side of french fries. Nothing spectacular but it was good. We kept running out of water but the waiters were so busy and couldn’t bring us water fast enough. Charming restaurant, clean bathroom, good food and service. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Best gnocchi of my life! We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and had several tours off the ship. When our guide(who was also great) recommended Casa Tuscana we were a bit nervous when we saw several others from our cruise there as it appeared touristy. NOT the case at all — our guide just knows her stuff and sent us all there! They were very helpful, on top of their service, affordable and I cannot say enough about the gnocchi. It’s worth it to go back to Italy just for that dish.
