Osteria La Torre

Wow, I must say first of all about the building. It is mixed with old and new construction. So much history in the town of Cherasco.
As you could see in the some of the photos the restaurant is well lit. The décor is very little, but you don’t need décor with the beauty already there, the exposed brick walls and and the original beams. The simplicity of it all, even in the food but yet very flavorful and presented beautifully on a simple white plate.
The ambiance in this setting is the same in all the restaurants we have been to in Italy. Is it because we are in a different country that it seems more cozy, is it the other customers that you watch that seem to be truly enjoying their food and taking their time enjoying each others company? It is a visual I won’t forget.
The customer service is very different from the westerners… don’t be in a hurry that’s all I have to say.
The food here is delicious, is it because we are here in Italy… made with love.
