If I’d been smarter than my stomach had allowed me to be, I’d have ordered a lunch-sized portion of the spaghetti with tomato and basil sauce. Instead, I let the dream of being in Bologna — and all that that entails for a food lover — cloud my vision: I ordered the lunch special, which included a main dish(after the pasta) and a side dish(contorno). The pasta was mind-blowing; al dente and perfectly seasoned. But the main dish and contorno were average at best. That said, this place seems to be super solid on the pastas(at least as far as those that are made in-house). If I were to go back it’d be to get pasta and pass on the other dishes.
