There’s a lot to this particular restaurant, and it’s a whole lot of good. So to start, every month they decide to choose a different region to feature, so their menu might be completely different if you were to go several weeks apart. This time around, we got to taste some delectable dishes from the Marche region, and wow was it enjoyable. We were able to have a chat with Marco, the head chef and menu engineer, who himself is a delightful guy. He walked us through his personal favorites on the menu, and who would we be not to listen to him. We ended up having some very nice squid antipasti followed by an agniolli al brodetto paired with a very nice minerally frizzante white wine. The attention to detail and the depth of flavor in every piece of the meal — even a basil pesto couscous amuse bouche — was on point. Particularly because of the«revolving door» nature of the menu, we’d certainly come back again and again here if/when we spend more time in Bologna

Some of the best pasta I’ve had in Italy! We had the prix fixe lunch and found the choices to be subtle, delicate, balanced, different. Sette Tavoli takes your Nonna’s recipes and updates them without losing their essential Italian-ness. If the pasta with sausage and orange cream sauce is on the menu get it. The waiter was welcoming and patiently walked us through the menu(we don’t speak much Italian). We’ll go back again before our stay is done.
