What a marvelous lunch we had today here. The caprese salad was remarkably generous, with the buffalo mozzarella nicely toothy. We also had a good tortellini. The secondi were a tasteful straccetti, a sliced beef dish new to me, and fish my wife enjoyed. The restaurant has a feel that is pleasantly rustic, with wood-paneled walls and sturdy tables. But it is clean rustic — no sense of accumulated grime. Incidentally, we were the only foreigners in the restaurant today, a good sign.
