Off the beaten track, La Volpe Verde — the green fox — is a great place for big, gutsy and cheap homemade Italian food. Staying in a nearby villa, this was the only place we could go for dinner without having to drive so we ended up coming here three times. Which probably explains the weight gain. Don’t come here if you expect finesse but do come if you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service(even if your Italian is rubbish) and generous portions of typical Italian food. I’d definitely go for the antipasti, and the pasta is great too. Most tables are outside on the patio.
