I’ve got a deal for this hotel on Groupon. € 120 for one night and two tickets to Gardaland. It seemed like a really good deal. Well, you get what you paid for and in this case it was even worse. I’m pretty sure that for € 60/night I could’ve found a much better hotel. The clerk at the reception said that the hotel is being renovated, but honestly it doesn’t look like that. They also held my ID for the night(to make an FBI check, not less?) My supposedly one of the best rooms had a crack on the bathroom wall, a flying bug, super small room with only a wardrobe(no blanket inside, in case of need, however there’s a vault), tiny desk, nightstands and a queen size(matrimonio) type of bed. However, the mattress isn’t a solid queen size mattress — there are actually two single mattresses put together. Well, that you can meet in many hotels in Italy… No fridge either, by the way. The bathroom had a very dim light, above the sink(no ceiling light!). From amenities there were built in Dove soaps and a small sealed soap. That’s all, no lotions, no shampoos/conditioners, no vanity sets, nothing. At least the water stream was strong and the water was hot. Holes in towels and sheets! At least they didn’t stink of ammonia. Wi-Fi is free, but it lasts 4 hours and you have to connect through Facebook or create an account. Free parking. Breakfast was also included as actually in every hotel in Italy. Judging by the reviews on Trip Advisor, I was expecting the worst meal ever. It was not super fresh and tasty, but it was still a good enough meal before going to Gardaland. Coffee was not good. And they had a funny sign asking not to bring any food out of the buffet, because it’s not a supermarket.
