Oldest pub in Waterford… over 300 years old. Now this is what I think of when I think of a good pub! Low ceilings, old gas lamps and the fastest whiskey slingers around. A friend of mine who now sings in the Cleveland area grew up in Waterford and started playing here many years ago. Ive heard that Sinead O Connor worked here back in the day too. Its located on a padestrian-​only street with lots of shops, pubs, take-​aways and a great stringed musical intrument store right across the way! There are many car parks in close proximity. They have live music often. Once I saw a GREAT band called «Rock N Roll Paddy». Nothing like hearing 50 people sing «Go On Home British Soldiers» while raising their pints in the air! Slainte!

Outstanding pub… Guinness and Irish music, it’s all that we needed that evening. The location was suggested by a woman working at the hotel desk — great choice.
