January 2012. Fantastic food served by lovely staff. Great menu offering fresh imaginative food to suit everyones taste buds. Excitng pasta dishes, green tai curry, fresh cooked steaks, wonderful fish dishes etc. All served with delicious sauces and fresh veg with a twist. The deserts are to die for ! Mango cheesecake, chocolate and passion fruit mouse, white chocolate panacotta with fruit coulis etc. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The early bird menu 5 — 7 p. m cost € 20.00 for three course. Great value, you leave with a smile on your face and your tummy full ! I’d say, just go, promise you won’t be dissapionted.

Tramore’s best café. And not just because it’s the only one. Tucked in the sunny crux of the village’s main crossroads, the Vee Bistro is the best place to watch the world go by. On a sunny day, it’s lovely to sit outside on the little verandah. It’s sheltered from the prevailing south-westerlies so you can sit there happily and warmly. They’re happy to serve coffees/teas alongside full meals, and the fare is always tasty and interesting. Can be pricey though. You’ll not get much change from a tenner, even after just having had a sandwich.
