Masterson’s Steak House & Wine Bar

My favorite restaurant in swords. I love the sizzling prawns and garlic potatoes. They do lovely steaks too. With a visit. Great choice and atmosphere and not bad value

One of the best neals ever. Great presentation. Superb food. Douglas should be the owner or at least partner. He wears his geart on his dleve. Very knoeledgsble abd accomudating. Best chateaubriand for two ever. All the sides with it was delicious. Wine was perfect. I didnt want the meal to end… Fantastic! See you again soon.

Do not recommend that place to anyone;
— service — much below average,
— food — especially stakes– not done the way as we ordered; rare was medium and well done was much to overlooked,
— music — music was fine, but it was just too loud, there were 9 of us at the table and we were unable to hear each other
Just to summarize — if you want to find a place to eat, do not go there.

Went there fo lunch. Good food and very nice staff. I know it can get kind of busy in the evenings but a prime location for lunch and an afternoon snack.

I went here for dinner on a busy Friday night. Service was polite, to the point and fast.
The meal was delicous I had sirloin steak with some sort of garlic mash, fries and a red wine sauce and it was yummers!
I was sitting outside and the only reason that I am not giving it 5 starts is because there were speakers and the music was really loud and it was quite annoying.
I’m coming back because they had a surf and turf that looked to die for!

Have been there twice. That’s it for me for now. Music was too loud upstairs. Two different waitresses asked us if we wanted drinks. Benches we were sitting on were not deep enough to sit comfortably. Lights kept dimming and coming back brighter. Waitress forgot to bring coffees. Steak medallions ok. Potatoes very good.

This place was amazing, the people and service was wonderful. I had the ribs, and Ray had a «Cob Salad», man that thing was loaded. A lady next to us ordered a Steak dinner, what was different was it was served on a very hot metal plate, and what she did was cut off a piece of steak, cook it a bit more on the hot metal plate and eat and enjoy. I don’t think you will find that anywhere here in the states, so make it a point to visit this place and order a «Hot Plate Special»

Masterson’s is in the exact spot where Trentuno’s used to be on Swords Main Street. Thankfully, this place is absolutely amazing! I’m generally not a fan of red meat, but after hearing the praise that was given to Masterson’s I decided to have a little taste! Little NOT being the operative word. steaks. are. HUGE. Steak on a stone is absolutely to die for. and you can cook it to your own desire! Although you may or may not trust my word being that I’m not entirely carnivorous, ALL of my guy friends could confirm the notion for you. Masterson’s steak on stone = de-​lish. And, from one extreme to the other, they do vegetarian-​friendly dishes as well. The variety of the menu is wide and quite impressive, and they still do a lot of the menu from Trentuno’s; pasta, pizza, and all the other Italian delights which suits me fine! The prices are pleasing, I thought, for the quality of food and overall value of service — the staff seem to be busy but attentive as well as friendly. This place is always buzzing so you might have to wait a while to be seated or served, but once your meal comes it comes it will be well worth the wait!
