Love this bar for casual drinks, service is good and the staff are very welcoming. Just recently a friend and I called in for a drink and we decided to get a quick bite to eat. We ordered the nachos, which were delicious EXCEPT for the sour cream which was whipped cream and lemon juice, it was disgusting and ruined the meal! I was really disappointed. However despite my experience I will return for drinks.

This Australian-​Irish bar is great. Lots of good beers on hand with a knowledgeable and truly friendly staff. I went for a night while on holiday and it was a highlight of my two week trip. It helped that the night I was there, a wonderful band played. This place made me wish we were in Sligo for more than one night.

Stopped in around 10:00 pm last night and caught some great music with a local band. Flute, mandolin, Bodrum, Bass guitar, guitar, fiddle, penny whistle, etc. They were great, reminded me of the band Iron Horse. Maybe I was just lucky to catch them.

Awesome little place. Went in for drinks only and had an excellent time talking with other Americans, locals, and the staff. Quite enjoyed our time there. Later in the night they had a local cover band play and the drinks flowed heavily! We would definitely stop in again.

Found this gem while I was traveling around Ireland with my father and brother. As Australian’s we couldn’t resist somewhere called the «Swagman»! Dale — the proprietor — is an Aussie ex-​pat and a genuinely nice guy. The venue is a good size, well laid out and the atmosphere and service are fantastic. Don’t miss it when you call through Sligo!
