Raffs on the Corner

Excellent experience. We went for lunch — BF got the soup & sandwich special, he was very please; the ham & cheese toastie I got needed a little some, perhaps a sharper cheddar, but the side salad was well dressed and it was hot and fresh. We returned for dinner, because after 7pm there isn’t much else open in Skerries, and we’d already eaten at Stoop Your Head earlier in the week. We decided to do tapas style dinner, which was an excellent idea. The ribs were delicious, perfectly cooked and the BBQ sauce is the BEST I’ve had in Ireland. The wings were juicy, not dry, and the sauces (hot sauce & garlic-​honey) were tasty, clearly made with quality ingredients, and I’d be surprised to learn they were made off-​premises. The caesar salad was delicious (real «American» bacon), and the chili that came with the nachos was excellent. Guac was a little meh, but everything else about the meal was superb.
I love the interior of the restaurant. It’s cute, clean, plenty of comfortable chairs. Staff is lovely, really friendly and attentive. Will return!

Nice place, very comfortable, I like the space. Raffs is a few premises merged together on the inside, but looking separate on the outside. We visited on Sunday for the lunch-​time carvery. Raffs seem to cater to just about everybody — families with small kids, couples dining, coffee-​lovers; I’m just not sure if they wold be better off just focusing on one of these groups.
We found the staff *exceptionally* friendly and helpful — I would rate them top marks. Overall, a fine Sunday lunch, representing good value for money.
