I got addicted to Rancheros and Calipos thanks to this corner shop… and the best thing is that this is actually in every way a shop on the corner! It is THE shop on the corner. a place to stop off at to buy a scratch card or lotto ticket just before the draw. its so brilliantly placed it may never shut down. The owners have changed hands numerous times yet it would be silly to ever change this place into anything other than a shop.
.has everything. the deli is fantastic also… if not a little greasy…
… i once stopped in the middle of a chicken roll from this place. called my best friend. and explained how i felt this was possibly the best roll i had ever consumed… hung up before he could respond. and proceeded to slowly and somewhat obsessively finish the roll.

To my knowledge, the best breakfast roll in Dublin. Builders, who know about this sort of thing, will travel upwards of two or three miles from a site just to eat here. I’m talking about the works; rasher, black pudding, hash brown, egg, red sauce and sausies all cooked fresh right in front of you. Best served first thing in the morning (between 730 and 830am), just after the baker makes his delivery and the bread is still warm.
Perfect for your way to work on a cold winters morning, or alternatively, on your way home after a hard nights hard… eh… «revelling».
No seating, unless you count the wall by the bus stop as seating.
