Possibly one of the oddest bars I’ve ever seen. From the window aesthetics, you’d think this was a novelty shop for hoarders looking to collect items that are far too old to have a regular use for as the antiques clutter the side walls. But inside harbors a quaint Irish pub that goes well late into the evening after the others have packed up for the night. Often song is broken into as the streets quiet from the Garda and the lights dim low bringing you closer to the ones you are with and even closer to new friends. There’s a sense of history at Golden’s, not shying away from how human history wasn’t necessarily all flowers and puppies, but diving into what you could purchase for the right price over the ages.
