For a bookshop located inside a modern art museum and run by a museum, the IMMA Bookshop could really do with a bigger stock of contemporary art. Don’t get me wrong, they do have numerous titles. Especially on Irish art and design. But for coffee-table book-lovers it’s a true gem. There are endless of interesting titles on everything from make-your-own furniture and stencil art to fashion, architecture and photography.
I especially loved the travel book on Toilets of the World. What a great thing to have in the bathroom! (for the boys of course, ehremmm). They also have a fine selection of childrens’ books
If you’re looking for a gift for an art-lover or a funny book for a friend, this is the place to go!
