Killester Off Licence

Eh, wtf? I’m away for a year or two, and look what they’ve done to the goddamn offo!
I just to pop into the off licence in Killester the odd time, never enough to have a strong opinion about it one way or the other. They always seemed to have a few cans of Dutchy around the place, so it was good enough for me. Nothing terribly remarkable about the place, either: just the an off licence attached to a Supervalu.
I went in to buy a couple of beers at the weekend to have with a curry, and I found that the off licence had moved. «Oh», I said, «it’s moved a door or two. Well, not to worry, I shall go to the new location two doors down and purchase my beverages there. Surely they shall offer the same service?»
The new offo is f*cking tiny. The front window is narrow enough, without the goddamn offo tapering off to a point at the back wall. This acute angling does not leave a whole lot of room for beer. I was looking forward to a nice Cobra with my lamb saag.
No Cobra.
Maybe a Coors light or something like that.
No Coors.
I left with four Bud Light (eugh) and the resolve to never visit such a terrible place ever again.
