Grand Canal Dart Station

You would think the DART directly next to Google HQ would be pretty hi-​tech, but you would be wrong. This is a standard DART stop except with no shelter and where you have to walk through a small corridor over the tracks which is extremely busy at peak hours. I also have found getting the DART to Connolly and walking back to Grand Canal is better on nice days. A few minutes longer but much more enjoyable.

As far as train stations are concerned pretty poorly built. There are no shaded /​sheltered areas and when it’s raining that can be a pain. I only use it or the DART when I am desperate as the service is highly unreliable and there is nothing rapid about it.

This is one of my lesser favourite dart stations.
I don’t know why, but I always seem to have to climb steps at this station, no matter where I’m going. I never seem to be using the side that has no steps. Very frustrating!!!
It’s just a boring stop really. There’s nothing to look at, never any newspapers knocking around and everyone always looks miserable.
There are three train lines and in the few years that I’ve been using this stop one of them has never been working. Ever. What the hell is the point in that?
