Dear lord, the tweens. Besides Spain, I try to avoid McDonalds abroad unless I’m in a country that hasn’t developed a taste for medium rare beef. Luckily, Ireland has a healthy dose of burger love, and despite this being one of the few McDonalds I’ve seen here, it really doesn’t seem to have much going for it. I know everything on Shop Street is expensive, but 3.25 euros for a small fry and small coke seems a bit much. Also, the aforementioned tweens.

Bought a double cheeseburger here just to see how McDonald’s in Ireland compare to those in the United States. Not surprisingly, it tasted exactly the same. In other words, gross, artificial, and nothing like a real burger. However you feel about McDonald’s is probably how you’re going to feel about this one. Personally, I’d recommend getting some real food at one of the other nearby restaurants instead.
