Très jolie visite.
Les jardins sont vraiment magnifiques. On peut y accéder depuis l’entrée par une navette gratuite (4−5min de route) ou à pieds (20minutes sur un joli chemin). La maison du chef jardinier donne sacrément envie d’être chef jardinier !
Beaucoup aimé aussi la petite église charmante, aux très jolies sculptures et aux colonnes de marbres de différentes couleurs.
La visite de l’abbaye en elle-​même est assez rapide, l’accès étant limité à quelques pièces au rez-​de-​chaussée.
Près de l’entrée, on trouve un restaurant et une boutique de souvenirs bien garnie.

A little pricey but a beautiful place. No middies out in the afternoon.
The Abbey was a pleasant peak into the past and much enjoyed. We skipped the gardens and popped in for ice cream and creapes instead.

This place is gorgeous and the history is even better. The abbey is just beautiful.
We didn’t get to see any nuns but the grounds are certainly kept up well.
The gothic church built as a tribute to the wife of the former owner is incredibly built and such a cute fun size church.
The gardens weren’t quite in bloom but wow do they do a great job keeping it sharp and clean.
We ate lunch at the restaurant just outside the gates. Not the most exciting lunch I’ve eaten. Only had wine available, but we didn’t come here to eat.
The abbey is a must visit if in Galway.
