This place has incredible food! Please see my review for Mac’s Lounge. They are having an identity crisis with names but the food is so good. I had the shrimp and crayfish pil pil and Hubs had the Beef and Stout stew. They were both so amazing we are eating them again tonight! I never do that! Come here! The Cabernet is yummy too and served in a proper wine glass.

After an epic day on the beach, we were in no mood to feed ourselves, so we made our way here to see what dinner was on offer. Quickly seated we took in the nicely decorated bar and perused the menu. I went for the baked brie, mushroom and spinach filo parcel that came with sun dried tomatoes, basil pesto and a white wine sauce. It all looked very busy on the plate. But it tasted really good, everything went well together. My two friends went for the burger and the goujons, which they both seemed to like. I nabbed a few chips, which tasted good also. But that’s where the good experience ended. As the bar filled up, the service deteriorated. It took an age to get the bill and then even longer to pay for the meal. We ended up going to reception to use the credit card machine there as the one in the bar wasn’t working. One other thing, the ladies stank like a mens pub toilet would. This always puts me off a place that serves food.
