Would be helpful to have the Christmas closing days on home page. As a primary teacher — its a haven inside ! Front of building could be improved though.

Looking at the picture of this shop now that i am home i realise that nowhere does it say the name of this shop on the outside, it just has Dundrum stationary written on it. But i know that everyone around the area including me calls this shop Sheerins… Hmmmmm! anyway, welcome to stationary heaven! This shop has everything to do with stationary and arty crafty stuff and photocopying and laminating and everything you can imagine. Upstairs in this shop will remind every local kid of school time, its where you get your school books, new ones and second hand ones, you had to get in early to get the ones with the least scribbles/graffiti on the pages(although i must say i always found the graffiti a welcome distraction in some classes!). Anyway, that pretty much sums up what this shop has to offer, i will say that it is more expensive than most stationary shops though so i would not be buying the bulk of my stationary in here.

My only real memory of this place over the years was the huge letters in the windows over the doors that spell out SCHOOLBOOKS. As a child in the summer I always deemed it an untimely reminder that school was only a few weeks away, truly a horrible thought back then… not great now either if I were to be honest! The shop is in fact not just for school books but carries probably the largest stock of stationary and art supplies outside easons. They also offer photocopying and reasonable rates.
