I went to the Gadget shop to return a gift of a book which my wife had purchased the previous day. I already had the book so wanted to exchange for something else. I picked an item which would mean adding money to it but didn’t mind, only then to be told that they did not except books and there was a no refund or exchange policy. It was obvious the book hadn’t been read was in perfect condition with the receipt and even the shop bag it came in but they wouldn’t budge. Very disappointed with this shop and will definitely never shop there again and advise people to avoid.

So today I was sent off on my own in Dundrum Shopping Centre, my shopping partner needed some alone time to buy my christmas present (wuhoo!) but I was not really in the mood for shopping (very unlike me) and didnt have the energy to walk from window to window so i ended up here, the most entertaining shop in Dundrum! you could spend hours in here looking at all the different stuff on offer and trying tem all out! but everyone else has the same idea as me it seems and it got kinda squashy in there. How do the people who work there stick it I asked myself as I was leaving, there are lots of giddy kids and the noise of them is added to the whirring sounds of various gadgets, the mmmmmm and doh sounds repeatedly coming from a homer simpson and the lovely sound of a deflating whoppe cushion. So in conclusion, good for a visit but not a very long visit!

I suspect that this place did better during the Celtic Tiger years, when the market for mini air hockey tables, spy camera pens, keyboard vacuum cleaners, lava lamps, flying toy bats and the like was larger. But despite the recession, Bond must still have his gadgets and office wags must still have their whoopee cushions. B Cool caters to their needs admirably.
