Jewel In The Crown

This is our favorite Indian delivery. It’s hard to find an Indian restaurant in Ireland that does Butter chicken, and it’s delicious here. Lamb bhuna is tasty too. Prawn Pura appetizer is great, and so is the naan it’s served with, with the extra sauce. The saag paneer has been good every time but once, when it tasted slightly burnt, but otherwise it’s always really nice.

I ordered Jewel In The Crown the other night because I had eaten at another location with the same name and really, really loved it so I wanted to check out another one. While it was obviously not quite as good as in the restaurant because of freshness lost in the drive the food was still extremely good. I got the lamb jalfrezi (my favorite) with garlic naan, some pompadoms and various chutneys. While it’s not the cheapest delivery meal you can get the amount of food and quality makes it well worth the price! It was one of those meals that I didn’t stop eating when I was full because I couldn’t stay out of it. The only complaint I would have is that I ordered for delivery at a specific time and it came nearly 45 minutes early, which was no problem for me but in other situations it really could have been.
Oh, and don’t miss out on the meat samosas!
