Really cool vibe kind of place with a cool location and a friendly staff! Burgers were tasty, the nicest thing about the place is that the toppings are free and the wow burger sauce actually goes well with everything on the menu! It’s not the best around here but surely one of the best.

Wow. Can’t rave about this place enough. Seriously, after the first time I had it I immediately wanted to go back. I could live here. Burgers are not the gourmet kind, so if that’s what you’re into this place might be a bit of a disappointment. Wowburger is all about the flavor, an a bit of a throwback food truck atmosphere that really just enhances the experience. It’s a simplistic approach to burgers: Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Bacon Cheeseburger and your choice of condiments. Unlimited condiments, including delicious secret sauce. Did I mention the bun is also incredible? And the meat is amazing, you get two thin burgers with melted cheese(because who doesn’t order cheese, right?) If this review sounds disjointed, it’s because I’m thinking about going back there now. The choices of sides are just as narrow, but just as delicious too. The fries are great, the garlic fries are greater, the onion bits are outstanding and the chilli fries are a delicious meal on their own. It’s a bit hard to find: you have to go into the Bison Bar and up the stairs, but the staff is friendly enough to guide you the right away. You should pay them a visit today.

The burgers are ok, the garlic fries delicious and the chilli fries… Ok too. The main problem is being outside and it was freezing the day I was there so we had to Wolf it down so it was warm. This will be great when the weather improves, a nice pint of cold cider and a juicy burger.

Like most other reviews here I’m going to have to compare it to Bunsen. Wowburger is probably the closest contender in terms on quality. That being said I found it to be more fast-foody than Bunsen. It’s also situated in the smoking area of the Worksmans — not the ideal location. It is cheaper than the competition though and you can include bacon on your burger(a definite selling point). I don’t know how late it opens but I can imagine it would be a dangerous temptation past a certain hour if you’re already there for a few drinks!

This is getting a 4 from me, I’m taking 1 star away mainly because of location and seating area. I mean it’s great if already drinking in the pub but it’s in the smoking area which is a major negative mark. Can’t help but compare to my favourite burger joint Bunsen but it does hold it’s own. Price alone definitely beats Bunsen. I got the cheeseburger which comes with a smallish patty but enough to fill you toppings are free and yummy and it’s on a brioche bun-thumbs up. We shared a taco fries these were delicious. The burger was tasty no complaints. Not quite as tender as Bunsen. The chip choice was better though and for value I’d choose wow burger but for best burger taste it has to be Bunsen! I’d go back even though it’s not my favourite location. Service was quick too so great if In a hurry like we were :)

Ok, so the question everyone’s wondering is whether Wowburger is as good as Bunsen. Well, to be honest, it’s not, but it’s still pretty damn good. They’re going for a completely different style here — it’s not your gourmet medium rare ground sirloin 2-inch-thick towering patty with brioche bun. This is retro burger shack style, with tasty thin patties and super soft squishy buns. The mini cheeseburger(€ 4.95) was more than enough for me, but if you have a larger appetite, the«normal» size comes with 2 patties for € 5.95 and that should be plenty for anyone. After that, all additional toppings and sauces are free, so you can’t beat that for value. I got grilled mushrooms, fresh jalapenos and Wowburger sauce on mine and it totally just hit the spot. The garlic butter fries are something interesting and different too. I don’t know if I’d order them again, though… soaking fries with butter is maybe just a bit too much in the cardiac arrest zone for me. One of the cons is that the entire seating area is outside, which also doubles as the smoking area for Workmans Club, so if you’re there during the club hours, it can be quite smoky. With winter upon us, I think I’ll be getting my burgers to go for the next while anyhow.

Finally stopped over Wowburger after overcoming the cheat feeling towards Bunsen… It is like they were brothers, same blood yet completely different individuals. And I just love them both equally, like a good mother would. I just know which I would go to sooth a hungover before it kicks and which I would go to in a quiet evening before going home…

It’s hard to describe a burger without comparing it to bunsen. They are just different, the bacon and the ingredientes here are as good as the other, the garlic fries are pretty good. The atmosphere is way different and waiting time are way lower. Different styles, for different moods.

Finally, a contender to Bunsen! A lot of people compare this place to Bunsen, and considering I use that as a benchmark for burgers in the city, too, I can respect it. But, this is a very different style of burger, that deserves to be appreciated on it’s own. I would say this and Bunsen are my top picks for burgers, but it would depend on my mood which I’d choose. This burger is a little more greasy, but in the most delicious, street food kind of way. The burger is two thin patties stacked, with melty American cheese in between, and a wonderful, fluffy brioche type bun! All toppings are free which is awesome. The grilled onions are tender and perfect. Also, the crispy onion bits: yessss! Finally! I’ve been on the hunt for good onion rings for so long, and these tick all the marks. The perfect crispy coating! Tender onions! Can’t wait to try the fries and a shake next time. It’s in a weird spot, you’ll see the Wowburger sign outside another restaurant, which you have to walk through and up the stairs, then you’ll find it tucked away on the top level. It was covered when we went, so the temperature was just fine, but apparently it’s usually open air. Staff is very nice and friendly, service was quick but it was fairly empty when we went. So if you want some serious comfort food, come here. If you’re feeling like a burger you want cooked to temperature, go to Bunsen. That is the motto I will be living by when I’m in the mood for a burger. They are both delicious in their own way, just two very different styles!

I think the only thing that really made me go Wow, was«Wow this place is basically outside» The burger was ok, the chilli fries were really good. But it was really cold. I guess in summer it might be nice. But I would think tonight with a storm rolling in its probably pretty unpleasant to be in Wowburger. Also its the smoking area so I guess that could be an issue as well during a busy period. But its worth having some chilli fries to go I would say!

Going against the grain here, but meh. The burger wasn’t a patch on Bunsen, but no burger ever is for me since I’ve become a Bunsen addict. But clearly people are mad for them here, Wowburger are doing something right. The garlic fries didn’t really do it for me either. The chilli fries my hubby got were pretty fantastic though. My chocolate milkshake was alright, but only got it after I’d finished eating due to the machine not being ready. They explained when they brought the Coke over. Apart from the kitchen(the food came out really quick), nothing appeared to be ready when we arrived at opening time. Being a smoking area and October, it was fairly cold. But it got better when they turned on the two heaters. Staff seemed pretty friendly. It was a itch that I needed to scratch.

The best burger I have ever eaten in the history of me eating burgers which is quite a tumultuous history. € 6 for a cheeseburger which tastes like crack. Brioche bun. OMNOM nom You can get anything you want on the burger and it does not cost any extra which is amazing. The burger is huge. Situated in the smoking area in the Workman’s it’s still a smoking area. So be mindful of that. For the cold and for smoke. You can sit inside instead and eat. But I like the atmosphere of it outside. It is covered so you wont get lashed on. Fries available in regular, chilli and garlic butter. You can order a pint with you food [at the first food truck] and it’s done fairly quickly. They call out your number and you pick up your order from the second truck. Like I ate this burger and all I could think was WOW. Hence the name. Orgasm burger probably didn’t sound quite right. But I am pretty sure that’s what I had when I ate it.

What a surprise! Wowburger has jumped to the top of my burger list in Dublin. The chilli fries… Too good.

Pretty solid burger, but the garlic butter chips are the real star. The menu is simple, burger and chips with a choice of toppings. I went for the cheese burger with lettuce, tomato and pickle(kept it classic). The cheese they use is that distinctive plasticy American sliced cheese that only works with burgers. The burger tastes great, but I would have preferred more meat. The garlic butter chips taste so sinful, they are amazing. The portion size is very good too, I couldn’t have eaten any more chips.(Burger € 5.95 Chips € 2.95). The setup is pretty cool, operating out of a shack in Workmans smoking area. Great spot for a cheap eat and a pint with mates.

Wowburger. WOW indeed. Absolutely fantastic burgers. I’ve frequented here a few times in the past few weeks and I’ve been extremely impressed every time. I’ve had each of the three burgers on offer — bacon/cheese, cheese and plain. If you’ve got the extra euros, I’d highly recommend the bacon/cheese option double patty. If you’re gonna do it, do it right! The burger meat is beautifully ground and very fresh. The cheese is perfectly melted and the bacon is at the

Wow is right. Gave this place a try with some friends last night and I hate to say it, but it’s up there with Bunsen. It’s located upstairs inside Bison BBQ so a few of us grabbed seats while the others placed our order. The menu includes the burger, a few kinds of fries, milkshakes, and a few beers on tap. For € 9 I got the cheeseburger with jalapeños, pickles, lettuce, tomato and their Wow sauce; along with an order of their garlic butter fries. The burger was simple and delicious and the fries were just sinful. Loved every bite and will return soon.

I cannot recommend Wow Burger enough, the burgers are delicious! I had the cheeseburger with wow burger sauce, grilled mushrooms and pickles(all the toppings are free!) and some fries. The burger was delicious — cooked perfectly and full of flavour and the fries were just as good. The service is great, the food is delicious and the location is perfect — If you’re tired of Bunsen, Wow Burger will sort you out!

Going to keep this short and simple. This place is a serious contender, stop reading this and go get a burger. (It will get 5 stars on a second visit if it’s as good when it’s busy)
