I’ve had two tattoos here and they have been great and the staff were helpful and really welcoming so this review isn’t for my tattoos. My mam joined along for her first. Now this was a few years back but as the tattoo has got older it just looks like a big blob of Indian ink you can’t even tell what the tattoo says. She’s now going ahead with the process of having it removed. Maybe it was just the artist on the day I dunno!

I got my double forward helix pierced and the man who did it(can’t remember his name) was very nice, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable! And if you check in you get free aftercare! I’d definitely go back if I need another piercing!

I have had 6 tattoos done here since 2009 and I find the shop excellent. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The flash designs are excellent and I have found several that where exactly what I wanted. The standard of tattooing is very high and the artists very professional. They made sure I was ok throughout the process and gave me excellent tips and instructions for aftercare. All of my tattoos healed nicely, I had no problem with any of them and was delighted with the results. I will definitely be visit this show for more tattoos soon.

Fantastic place! Fantastic people! Great work! I was vacationing in Ireland and really wanted my first tattoo to be done in Dublin. I was recommended by another(overbooked) shop to try Wildcat and I’m glad I did. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Stefan was wonderful! Thank you for making my first tattoo experience a great one.

Wildcat has been piercing and tattooing people for over a decade, and its bright, clean shop floor reassures you that all will be well. It also gives you a good view of the customers, from nervous teens getting their belly buttons done to hardened ink-heads getting another Komodo dragon on the inside of their ear, the only virgin space they have left. Wildcat also kindly offers a 24-hour emergency helpline, presumably offering a range of advice from which ear to pierce(it’s a once in a lifetime mistake) to what to do if your tat starts bleeding.

I’ve gotten pierced here and was with friends while they were being pierced here and I’ve had good experiences every time. The staff are all lovely and give you a thorough run through on how to look after your piercing/tattoo. They always put you at ease when piercing you and will give you a straight answer if somethings gonna hurt. They’ve got all kinds of weird stuff for sale, like necromance merchandise and replica pistols, not to mention, Jesus earrings. Plus, one of the guys has metal spikes in his head. Which is gas.

The newest addition to the Wildcat Ink franchise, the studio on Jervis Street is the biggest of their shops, having just relocated from Abbey Street, where situations were cramped to say the least. If you’re going to get a piercing here, try to get Mark if he’s still there… he’s super nice and chats away to you, while also being highly accomplished! As with all such establishments, it’s not cheap, and customers from abroad will probably get a shock when they see the prices… but you’re not going to do a whole lot better to be honest — beauty is now a costly business. Check out their weird and wonderful assortment of jewellery, which they will fit for you, as well… sometimes you find yourself wondering what, exactly, the purpose of a piece is… and then realise that it’s often better not to ask…
