Given that the Real Food Co is really the only place to get a hot meal thats not café or fast food in Dublin Airport, it is disappointing that better use is not made of the monopoly here. Prices are comparatively high here and while there is plenty of choice of breakfast or roast foods, sandwiches, fruit, crisps and cakes, there is nothing here that would make your glands salivate with delight as your relax before your flight. Tea comes in at approx € 2.50 per cup. I’d recommend heading around the corner rather than paying that much for a bag in hot water.

There’s plenty to pick from at any time of day for every hungry mouth in your traveling party at The Real Food Company’s big bright food hall at Dublin Airport. While the brilliant electric colours may be a bit much in the wee hours of the morning, the offering at each station is thorough and filling: soup of the day, burgers and fish and chips, sandwiches, breakfasts and lots more. As most spots here will do, there’s a full Irish available at the wallet splitting price of € 11.50(I’m assuming they’re using phoenix eggs for the scramble, or the bread is made of sifted diamonds) with a more conservative version on the menu for € 8.50 Filling and easy to spot from the stairs once you arrive on the Mezz’s landing, this is a sure target for footsore bag draggers.
