Have had a drink in this bar many a time so decided to bring the family down for a late lunch once Saturday. Barbecue burger with smoky bacon was beautiful, came with a lovely crunchy salad and humongous home made thick cut chips. The wife had a 7 oz sirloin steak which came on the stone and was lovely as well. My little one had spaghetti bolognaise, a fruit juice and ice cream for desert all for € 6.50 which I thought was very good value. Will be going back for sure.

The Grasshopper Inn is one of the nicer pubs around Clonee & Blanchardstown with a good Carvery and great outdoors space. On a sunny Sunday afternoon it is the ideal place to relax, have a pint in the sunshine and get some good mummy style dinner from the Carvery. My fav is the roast beef with tons of mash and cabbage. If you are not in the mood for Carvery, they also offer Bar food. The Sandwiches are nice(especially the trippel decker Club Sandwich) but the other dishes on the menu are nothing extraordinary and something on the slightly bland site. If you are in the mood for a pint on a sunny day and look for a pub with great outdoors space, this is where you should go if you are near Clonee.
