It’s surprisingly spacious inside, clean, and comfortable. The guy at the bar was friendly and I have to admit I kind-​of like this place.

Alright I admit it I’ve only ever been here before and after gigs in Vicar Street which is across the road. I know for a fact that I’m not alone in this as the bar in the venue is always prohibitively full by the time I turn up. Anyway, the Clock with its expanse of seating is the perfect location to meet up with friends either side of the Vicar Street experience — the beer is also cheaper.
Apart from the usual brews on tap they also do a mean line of pint bottles of McArdles which will please the ale drinkers amongst you. If you feel under-​informed vis a vis current affairs then be sure to turn up before 7pm, and you’ll catch the RTE news on the telly.
