The Brasserie

This place is just amazing, definitely 5 starts for it! The decoration is cool, the place is spacious and new. I had the pre-​theatre menu — Board Gas theatre is just across the road, so it is perfect. They have a pretty nice pre-​theatre menu, I must say. Not so many options but they were all very interesting. I went for the croquettes as starters. OMG, so good. Then I had corn-​feed chicken as main. Very very good, the sauce was something special. The wine is list is extensive but I did not try anything from there — we stayed on the sparkling water.
I totally wanted to have dessert but we were a kinda of late to the play, so we had to leave. I was going to pay for it because I had ordered, but the staff were kindly enough to cancel it for me. I was embarrassed because I ordered something and then changed my mind… but when I realised we were already late. Still dreaming about that chocolate mousse I left behind haha
We had a great experience here and I believe this place is perfect for special intimate celebrations =)

We enjoyed a fabulous pre theater three-​course meal for only € 26!
I ordered the grilled sea bass with chorizo and potatoes and a tuna tartare starter. Topped it off with some berry ice cream! What great value for a delicious meal! Also, the service was exceptional and the dining room lets in so much light in the afternoon!
We were all pleased with our meals and enjoyed the modern cave-​like surroundings.
I highly recommend The Brasserie for a pre-​theater meal. It’s a lovely dining experience with minimal damage to the pocketbook!
