This is a nice Tesco located at the beginning of Temple Bar (well, that depends on where you start from and possibly the time of day as well). You’ll find basically everything you need including flowers, wine, booze, milk, and cereals.
What I’m missing is the crazy section where people use not just their elbows to get discounted meat, yogurts, or ready-​made food that is dangerously close to the expiration date. They have a special section for that in the Sandymount store and it is fun to see how people loaf around the aisles at around 7pm just to be the first to grab the chicken wings that are reduced by 90%. They now even started to have a security guard watching the scene. No kidding.
Maybe it’s good that this Tesco doesn’t go that route. There is no shortage of craziness already just outside the store…

A decent supermarket for right in the middle of a city. They have good variety of things and prices are not too bad.
Only thing is at the registers (which are self checkout) if you need a bag, they are impossible to find. I had to ask and they were not in an obvious place at all.

Selection is mediocre.
One of the cashiers working there seemed to really hate her job and had major attitude problems… BUT…

Really nice and super convenient for people who need to commute back into the city or out of the city before or after work since its right in Temple bar near all the buses on the Quays. Kind of confusing set up, since its just a few reallly long aisles though (It took me 5 min to find pasta sauce, and when you see the store you will know that that is a long time!)
