Must give a low rating! Very disappointed! Never order a Biryani dish there. Ordered a chef special biryani and it was a disaster. Nowhere close to a Biryani! No biryani smell or taste! The rice was so wet and accompanied by a curry sauce(curry sauce with Biryani-really?!) the meat seemed to be whatever the chef had left a bit of chicken tikka, a bit of normal chicken and some kebab lamb thrown in. If they don’t know what a Biryani is then why having it in the menu! Samosa wasn’t of a great standard too. Was really looking forward reading many good reviews but really disappointed!

Finally found a decent Indian takeaway in the city centre! The menu is good, the prices are reasonable and best of all the staff are fantastic — it’s a pleasure dealing with them. I have ordered from here twice now, both times it has come to c.€ 30 for two courses + naan bread for two people which is competitive. The food is lovely and it’s delivered quickly, I’ll definatley be ordering from Spice & Rice again.

When in the mood for Indian, I usually order from another place but one weekend I decided to try Spice and Rice. They were fairly cheap and they had a good set meal plan. So I ordered my items for delivery, and with eat minute of waiting for the food, my mouth started watering, realizing that I was(hopefully) about to eat some tasty Indian food! Unfortunately, this experience wasn’t as great as I had hoped! First, it took forever for me to get my meal, about an hour and thirty min!!! Second, the food was ok, there wasn’t as much taste as I had hoped in the food. However, they did have alot of meat in the chicken tikka masala which was a bonus! I don’t think I’ll really order from here again, at least not when I’m starving and my mouth is salivating like a racehorse!

I haven’t physically been in this place but it was recommended to me by a friend and I use it all the time for deliveries now. The guy taking orders is friendly enough, the deliveries are prompt and even though I live on an obscure street in Smithfield, they never have any problems finding me whithin 15 to 20 minutes of making the order and the prawn madras is deadly. I’m definitely a fan!

Cheap and yummy Indian food for when your too lazy to cook or even throw in a frozen pizza. No, honestly SpiceNRice(as I was sure it was spelled) does delicious Indian Take Away, for very little money. I am a big fan of The Meal Deal especially, which is a kebab of your choice with fries and a drink for € 5.99 and honestly it’s the best kebab I had in Dublin so far. Try it out.
