Michael Perry Diamonds

So myself and my at the time fiancé, now my wife, were looking for wedding rings. We had a goo at a couple of places on Grafton St and Tiffany’s in Brown Thomas. Reagan mentioned there was a few jewelers in Powerscourt, the second one we came across was Michael Perry.
Michael Perry is a one man show. We went in, had a look at some of his rings, all quite unique looking. We started up a pretty good conversation with him. He came across a little fussy but it was clear Michael knew a lot about rings. He was like the guy in Harry Potter who makes the wands. Michael Perry knew everything there was and talked us through the different metals and the reason for their price. He makes his the rings himself, you can usually see him working on them when you come into his shop. He mumbles a bit, but his honesty and integrity come shining through.
He showed us some rings he had just received that weren’t on display yet from Germany. Going through them Reagan and I spotted a gorgeous set of rings, really unique, really different.
We thanked him and left, then looked at each other and realised we didn’t need to look anymore. We found our rings! We went back in.
We showed Michael the pair we wanted and the metal we wanted them in, his own creation, grey gold. He fussed and bothered a bit, he wanted to organise the rings for display and then for us to come back to him. He quoted us a price. We said fine. We hoped we could find the set again. He told us to come back in two weeks.
We came back after a fortnight. Not set up yet, come back in another week… ok. but we found the set again.
We came back, their still not set up, but he agrees to do them. We’ll get a call.
Nothing until a week before Reagan has to fly to the US where we’re gonna get married. Then an email. They’re ready!!!
We arrive. They’re beautiful. He tells us he got the weights all wrong. They’re heavier than he thought, but like the genuine man Michael is, only charged us what he quoted. He can’t have made much money off of us.
We now have a genuine original set of rings on our fingers, very beautiful and unique. I’m glad I found Michael Perry and walked into his store. I’d recommend him to anyone.
