Are we in America or Ireland?!
On first entering LA College of Creative Arts I was pretty impressed at how well finished and sleek the entire building looked, gleaming stairs, rooms filled with state of the art iMacs and glass walls everywhere really made me feel like I was in Los Angeles and not just off Grafton Street in Dublin!
I did not actually attend the college to do a course or to sit a class, I was there to paint a mural in their reception area so was able to view the place with slightly different eyes.
Everyone I encountered met me with a friendly hello and a smile, all the students seemed to be enjoying themselves hugely despite the blistering 28 degree sunshine outside!
As I painted the mural there were a few special effects makeup filled faced poking out of doorways to see what was going on.
I was very impressed with the work from the students and was briefly filled in by the Head of Education, Marie-​Therese, about the broad range of courses on offer at the college.
It was a pleasure to work with the guys from LA College of Creative Arts and I am already looking for a reason to go back and say hi!
