This is the third place I have tried hot yoga in Dublin and I have to say it takes the biscuit! Other venues I have been to have been smelly, overcrowded and far too hot. This hot yoga is in a spacious room, it is obviously very well looked after and the infrared lights are much better then blowing heaters. There are cleaning materials for the mats after the class and the changing and shower facilities are good. I really like the actual classes as well, the teachers are very good and engaging and make an effort to know everybody in their class. I have a knee injury so I was given a different exercise to do when the rest of the class was working on a strenuous pose for the knee. I found this very attentive. On top of that I am a student and my timetable really varies from day to day but the class times at Init Yoga are very accommodating and there is definitely a class time to suit everybody.

Just went to an excellent class at Init tonight with Eoife. The 7:30 vinyasa class is no joke — 90 minutes of posing, bending, twisting, breathing, sweating(profusely) and relaxation. It’s challenging for sure, I wouldn’t say it’s that suitable for beginners but then again you can scale any yoga class to your skill level. That class made me want to be a better yogi. The studio is really clean with deodorant in the changing rooms to boot. You can rent mats, towels and buy water for a higher price, but one class will set you back € 25 with none of the extras included. Pricey but worth it if you really want to try a reputable hot yoga place in Dublin or even just want to up your normal practice.

I love Hot Yoga, and have tried a few different studios across the city and this one has to be tops. INIT offer traditional Bikram(26 poses, 2 sets, same every time) and hot vinyasa classes(flow yoga, not quite has hot and changes all the time). I love both for their own reasons, and they balance eachother wonderfully so it’s a great option to have a studio that can provide both. The vinyasa classes here allow experimentation more than any studio I’ve tried in Dublin before: arm balances, inversions etc that are often reserved for those further along in their practice. INIT cater for every level in the one class providing a variety of options for each pose. The instructors also give personal attention and care if you need it, while never interfering with your own personal focus or interuppting your flow. INIT has two large studios complete with mirrors for self correcting and concentration. They’ve good changing rooms, lockers and enough showers which are often lacking in studios — and you need a shower after hot yoga! Towels and mats can be rented and there’s a small selection of yoga clothe sto purchase should you wish. Even if you’ve never tried hot yoga before, give this place a shot — you might be a convert :)

Great place to practice hot yoga. The greatness comes from the number of factors: 1. It is clean and has a lot of space in the changing rooms and studios 2. Caters for different hot yoga styles 3. Teachers always nice, helpful and keep you motivated 4. Regular workshops and challenges are hosted to improve the practice 5. Naturally formed diverse and active community I’ve been coming to this studio for a good year now, mostly for the«before work — early morning» classes, you get a good workout and energy kick for the day.
