Came here because we saw the advertisement for 1.99 Chicken cutlet sandwich then we saw someone walking down the street with it. Lol This Londis is set up like a convenience store with a café attached. It seems to get pretty busy around lunch time, but quickly settles down. The first time we went I had the chicken salad sandwich on brown bread and my fiancé had the chicken cutlet with peppers and lettuce(comes w/your choice of 2 salads). There was some confusion b/c I saw a soup and sandwich combo offered so I thought to pick up some stew, but was told that’s not a part of the combo. There was no sign that said that so I was not pleased. My sandwich was yummy and my fiancé loved his as well. The next day we went back(because he loved his sandwich and thought for 1.99 it was the best deal in town). He decided to get a tuna salad and I got the chicken cutlet sandwich. I did not like the chicken cutlet. The skin was very crispy and came off easily revealing a wet hunk of meat. They do their best to keep the café area clean which is a plus. All in all a decent place.

A bit of a shame that the prime location makes this place able to afford to be so lazy. It’s filthy! We’ve had to return gone-off milks and soups several times. Don’t buy the croissants/buns etc because it seems like they’ve sat there for a week or more, the ‘fresh’ fruit is miserable and decaying, and my colleague got food poisoning from the hot deli. Maybe just buy a(crumpled, dirty) newspaper and a(fine) packet of biscuits from the(insanely rude) counter staff and go on your way. Anything else is masochism. Yuck!
