This is one of those teeny tiny coffee shops that you keep passing — but don’t ever step foot in. Which is a real shame, as everyone, and I mean EVERYONE should try this place at least once. THESTAFF: So friendly! And the manager has a great sense of humour too. They don’t rush you either, we were there for 2 hours in total! INTERIOR: It’s small, warm, cute with funky decorations. THEFOOD: Oh. my. GOD! I’m still raving about it to everyone I meet and is willing to listen. We went here for an afternoon tea.(25 euro including prosecco– although we were lucky enough to get 50% off with a voucher) Unlike other afternoon tea’s the food was not brought out all in one go, instead we got four courses. Starting of with course one: 4 different type of sandwich pieces, all yum. I think we ate about 7 or 8 pieces each. We were then asked if we wanted course 2: Smoked salmon on soda bread — but we declined, as we were actually getting full already. Course 3: A HUGE heated scone, topped with cream and chocolate sauce. It was incredibly good. I felt like a glutton polishing it all off. But nothing could prepare me for Course 4: 6 massive slices of cake were brought out(see photo) — a brownie, a berry cheesecake and a chocolate mousse type of cake, I don’t have a sweet tooth, but these were seriously amazing. Definitely all fresh and homemade. It was such a shame, as I found the portions of all the courses were too big, so that’s why we needed to skip a course plus only could eat about a quarter of the last course. I hate leaving food… but the generous portions would be enough to feed a small army instead of 2 small girls(even with a huge appetite!). Will I be back? HELLYES!!! In the two hours we were there we saw a lot of amazing looking dishes passing by(from sandwiches to soup to pasta to cakes)…and if I ever want to treat myself the afternoon tea here can not be beaten!

This is the type of place you are always passing by and never stopping at. Located in the corner of Capel Street and the Grattam Bridge, traffic and people walk by all day long and do not really notice it as it is a very small business. As soon as you get inside, you feel welcomed by the cosy interior and the extremely cute décor, planned in every detail. There are little cushions, frames, mirrors, flowers, baskets… everything is just cuuute! We got a cheese board to share for 2 and it was extremely small and cute, exactly like the place. Actually, too small. There were 3 or 4 different types of cheese(and I know all of them came from Aldi), exactly 5 pieces of thin ciabbata and 5 little grapes, plus a bit of what seemed like cranberry sauce with onions on it — which was very tasty indeed. No crackers and very narrow selection. The mug of americano goes for nearly 3 euro and the cup does not even come full, annoyingly. I can say that the service is pretty good and they are chatty and friendly, but you are leaving hungry for sure. I would say this is a good stop for a slice of cake and a chat with a friend as maximum 7 or 8 people would fit in there with comfort. The service and the lovely setting deserve a visit.

Was in here with a friend for a much needed bite to eat service was friendly and quick but I think the food let it down. My friends tuna melt was nice and I would have got a sandwich but they didnt do chips as I was hungry they had no soup on the day? so I ordered the mini fry. It tasted like a dried up deli counter food esp the hash brown, a tiny piece of rasher and cold toast all served on a board. Sorry but a proper Irish fry is served on a plate hence no egg either. We both got coffee and I am not a big coffee drinker but my friend is and we both only half finished it. It tasted horrible and mine looked as if it was greasy. The cakes looked nice but we headed to another place to get a proper coffee and dessert. Will not be coming back here again.

Bad even before going there! I want to mention every details in order to provide a true statement of my bad experience. I bought a voucher online with GrabOne for a «Gourmet Cheese Platter & Wine for 2» for 10 Euro. I was happy enough so I could share this with my friend. To book the table I needed to call the number 0876507000 as also they stating on Facebook page. I called around 6.10 pm today. Nobody answers, so I left a message in their voice mail to let them know that I wanted to make a reservation using the voucher and then I left also my phone number. Then around at 7 pm I got an sms stating «Hello u called me» then«Whose this?» So I contacted again and no answer. After few minutes I got again an sms: «I am in a meeting whose this?» At first I thought to call the wrong number, so I went online and checked the number either on my printed voucher and the Facebook page but was correct. What bad customer experience. Is that the way a potential customer is managed by this business? My enthusiasm for this business and willingness to go there touched the ground. If you are not able to manage phone calls so don’t run a business.

Ok so food — 10 out of 10 ! — however a little bit dear… good quality food and all but at the end of the day they are only sambos and such … I ordered tuna melt sandwich with cheese… very delightful and filling and the bread was extremely fluffy … soup was the soup of the day but being honest im not entirely sure what it was. I’m pretty confident it was veg(as that part was obvious) but there was a little something extra in it I couldn’t figure out. Like a buttery taste as if there was butter squash in it or something… texture was super thick and creamy which I love… all soup should be this way none of this watery crap. but it was a tiny bit bland but nothing a pinch of salt couldn’t have fixed. herbal tea in a HUGE mug thank you very much … nothing worse than these tiny little tea cups and your tea is gone in a few mouthfuls… maybe I can understand with coffee but with tea its like hello just hot water your adding … tea bag was good quality too. Similar to the Starbucks one … Place itself very very cosy and cute and small… similar to Hippetys in Tempe Bar but no where near as artsy … THESERVICE … They forgot my soup which was very annoying as its embarrassing having to go up. no matter how nicely you say it you still look like an A**hole of a customer… I hat being put in hthat position… plus on top of that it was a huge inconvenience. the whole idea of me getting my soup(and id imagine this goes for most people) but is to have your soup and sambo combo … you know? I wanted it together… so had my sambo. Halfway through the sambo had to get up and remind them of the soup. ugh… not very relaxing… went back down. my sandwich was going cold so I ate it then I waited roughly 15 minutes for my soup. I didn’t even want it at that point I was very annoyed … the waiter wasn’t very apologetic however the chef himself(which I think was the manager) was very pleasant to deal with … Would I come again? I won’t be in a hurry to go back especially on my own accord but if friends of mine already happen to be going or something I won’t object and try get them to go elsewhere, if that makes sense … In addition I was delayed going back to the office because I had to wait and then eat said soup …
