Very unimpressed by Gerard’s Deli. I work in an office that has a reception that orders everything for you(yes I’m very pampered) and this includes food. So sitting at my desk, busy and staring out at the mini hurricane that was happening right outside my window, I decided to order a small lunch for moi. First downfall was the price, I got a sandwich and a yogurt pot. Nothing fancy, wasn’t served on a solid gold serving plate or anything. The price came to an unbelievable 10 Euro. They were lucky that the girls that work at the reception delivered it to me(they are so lovely, note for the lads they also look like they should be walking down a catwalk instead of an office!) as if I was at the actual counter of Gerard’s Deli I would have turned around and walked out empty handed. The yogurt pot was nice but my sandwich was stale. Their corporate lunches are just as bad, old bits of sandwich thrown together on jarring red trays(red means anger people!). I’ll begrudgingly give a star for them delivering before 1:30pm for same day delivery. Although something tells me that is more up to the efficiency of my reception. I use Roly’s Bistro now(who I was pleasantly surprised to learn, are much cheaper too and much better quality of food)
