In general, I never liked Gamestop. The staff aren’t known to be the friendliest or most helpful, and the prices are higher than anywhere else. I preordered a game here before and couldn’t make it on release day, came a day later and was told that they were apparently going to send it to another store to resell if I had come any later. The branch is tiny so they have a very small selection of games and hardly any ps vita or Nintendo games. I rarely go here now now, unless I need a charger or hardware something but not to buy games.

I remember back when the original Playstation was taking lumps out’ve Nintendo and Sega that this GameStop, although I can’t remember if it was always a GameStop, was the bad-ass video game retailer on the block. These guys would de-chip a cheap foreign machine for you no-questions-asked. Before anyone else got there, they’d sold more second hand games and consoles than Electronics Boutique had had hot dinners. They always had a good selection and an air or danger about them. Not so much anymore, they appear to have gone mainstream, maybe due to a change in ownership, not sure, but they still have one of the widest and largest selections of second hand games.
