AH-​MA-​ZINGGG. Thank you so much to the ladies who let me in after the store closed to pick up emergency shoes (Not your average shoe emergency because obviously they were fabulous shoes but because I was visiting Dublin and forgot to bring mine!!).
This place is honestly a one stop shop everything from wedding dresses to festival wear and all very reasonably priced. Everybody that works here is really genuinely helpful and lovely it is a pleasure to shop here. I have to stop following them on facebook now though as I have wedding dress envy!!!
One thing… can you update your hours here on Unilocal as it says open until 7 on Saturdays!

This place is just full of fabulousness!
A great vintage shop in Temple Bar with a lovely selection of very pretty girly clothes.
There was so many things I wanted here. If you’re looking for something quirky glamorous you should definitely try here.

A bit on the pricey side, but oh so worth it! an Aladdin’s cave of beautiful things, from jewellery, to shoes to bridal, you can’t fail to get an outfit for any event here.
The staff are super friendly and will make suggestions and assist in any way they can. I was in here a few months ago getting El Monkey a dress for a ball (cause apparently that’s what 16 year olds do now, they go to balls…) and we found her a stunning fishtail skirt which can be worn again and again, and as recently as a week ago when a girlfriend needed a dress for a charity event at short notice, Folkster came up trumps with a beautiful beaded backless number.
As I said, it isn’t cheap, but for occasion wear with a difference it really is top notch.

first vintage store I visited in ireland. the shop is adorable and the selection of vintage inspired gowns were AMAZING. I love the mix of new + old. although I went in for some vintage, I left with one of the newer pieces that stands out among my closet. Kay and Alice were super helpful and I’m so happy we made the trip. thanks ladies!

What’s not love about this amazing shop? A mix of vintage and brand new unusually beautiful pieces, jewellery, shoes and pretty things for your home. They even have a bridal section. The staff is extremely nice and helpful so if you’re a bit overwhelmed by their choice, the staff is more than happy to help. ‘Like’ them on Facebook and you get updates whenever new stock comes in. You can order online or ring in and have a piece reserved in the shop for you. It doesn’t get better than this. I really hope they find a permanent home cause this pop-​up store is (currently) only planned to be open till the end of December. But until then, I’m really happy I no longer have to travel to Kilkenny (Shutterbug) for my fashion fix.

You know that girl who looks so fabulous that you feel like a fishmonger standing beside her? Chances are she shops at folkster. Hailing from Kilkenny, the Folkster team are transforming Irish fashion one fabulous fedora at a time. Not your typical vintage shop, it’s a miasma of the old, the new and the futuristic.
The staff are always bang on, giving ace style advice and general chat. Fashionistas every one of them… they’re inspiring rather than intimidating.
Price wise, it ain’t cheap but it’s not staggeringly expensive. Your pockets may be lighter leaving but the spring in your sartorialist step will most certainly balance you out!
