Not too much to say here. good food in a small part of Dublin. Waitress was friendly but not so efficient. But overall a good meal.

Wife and I visited Dublin for 3 weeks. We found this restaurant early in our vacation. It is absolutely wonderful. The meals are truly Italian and feature daily specials. But more importantly have a 3 course menu for low or reasonable cost. The entrees are very diverse(including hand-made pizza cooked in a brick oven) — not take away quality but much tastier. Best to email ahead for reservations. The three course special include as starter, entrée and glass of Italian wine. I enjoy the steamed mussels as a starter(don’t forget to ask for extra bread to soak up the tomato-based liquid. They were fresh and very tasty!!! Then on to a variety of main courses including pastas, risotto’s and meat dishes. If you are in the area, it is a small, friendly place with great service and Italian wines!!! We have eaten there 6 times in three weeks… great to visit Irish pubs but not same small and rather tasteless Irish dishes. Enoteca Torino Italian restaurant provides tasty foods before going to have great Irish beer!!! dom

My favorite little italian restaraunt. Always tasty and good value. The mussels starter are my favorite. They also do like a pastry stuffed with goats cheese with a berry purée its so tasty. Would recommend anything on the menu being honest ive tried nearly everything here. They also do take out pizza! I cant rave enough off how tasty the food is and they do great early birds and lunch menus and its always changing. The staff can be moody but ah well. they know what theyre doing!

This place is packed, even at 6pm on a Thursday. Great to have an asset like this in Inchicore

If you’re planning visiting the place, come early or make a reservation as it gets pretty busy, at least during dinner. It’s not without reason though — the food served here is pretty good and the set dinner menu offer a complete meal and red wine for a set, good price. I ordered the tomato soup as a starter and vegetable risotto as a main course, and they were both amazing! The risotto was specially tasty without being overcooked, which can happen too often. And I don’t know about you but I absolutely love tomato soup, so I may be biased. :p Finally we decided to spoil ourselves and ordered the cheesecake with red berries. For the same of your taste buds, save some space for it! It was creamy and not too sweet, seething that pleases me particularly. Some ristretto to go with it it’s just the right choice. You’ll be delighted! Definitely coming back.

Came to celebrate a birthday and we are glad that we did. Most of us had the special 2 course meal with a glass of wine. We were pleased with the selections of pasta offered. One of us had a pizza and found it delicious. The service was impeccable and we felt we were well attended. We highly recommended dining here.

In Enoteca Torino yet again, I swear we are addicted to the place and are trying to keep it down to one visit a month but this establishment is too difficult to wean yourself off. To make it more difficult they have just added new dishes to their special menu. Ah heck, to hell with it, we will just settle for once a fortnight.

Popped in for dinner Sunday evening and was rewarded with the best linguine shrimp I ever had. Two people two courses including wine for less than € 40, where would you get it. It was busy yet still served quickly if a little impersonally.

Stopped visiting here during the Wallace era. Happy to say it’s magnificent now. Their € 10 two course lunch menu is excellent.

It seems as though this is one of the very few nice places in this part of town to eat. I can’t complain about the food, just under € 16 for a 2 course meal and glass of house red is good value in anybodies book. The food was good quality for the price and the ambiance in the restaurant was very nice. Unfortunately, the service from the waiter was pretty awful. He did not seem impressed when my friend asked for a second side plate(he’d given us one between two) and even less impressed when I asked for salt and pepper. Sadly, his whole demeanour while serving our table really put me off this places.

I have to come back and review this place again as I have fallen in love with it all over again since they brought in the pizza oven and Roberto, the manager. The pizza is great, the pizzialo trained in Naples and all the kitchen staff are Italian. The pasta is always perfectly al dente and the wine reasonable and great. Their 15.992 course menu with glass of house wine cant be beaten either. I have about 5 staples on the menu that I constantly go for, despite knowing that I should venture outiside them so if youre there for a first visit then the starters of goats cheese in pizza dough and prawns are great, while the mains of paccheri with pork sauce and the pizza rustica are my favourite. I love having Enoteca Torino as a neighbourhood haunt, its certainly the best place to eat anywhere in Inchicore. Another plus is that if you are learning Italian the staff are more than willing to help(tonight I learned the words for fork and knife!)

Given that it is the only nice looking restaurant in the vicinity of where I lived, I wanted this restaurant to be great. It is very good, but not sure I can file it under great yet. We arrived on a Friday evening and the restaurant was relatively busy with only a couple of tables empty — good sign for a neighbourhood dining venue. Intimately decorated which makes you want to have a few courses, guzzle a bottle of wine and chill out for the evening. Service was once again good but not great; we had to prompt the maitre d to bring the menus(which really should be with you within 30 seconds of being seated). The waitress got my mate’s order wrong although she was very accommodating to change it but that would involve another 15 minutes wait so we didn’t. House red was very nice and at a reasonable price. Food was simple but excellent traditional Italian fare — I had pizza and mate had pasta. The special prawn tagliatelle which my neighbouring diner had smelled amazing! For a neighbourhood restaurant, it could do a lot worse and I am glad I have Torino around the corner for an impromptu nice meal out.

This is pretty much the only restaurant in Dublin 8 area that is worth going to. Food is outstanding! Have to agree with Deirdre’s post, in that it isn’t as busy as it once was, and sometimes they do push wine, dessert etc. on you. To be honest though, its all so good that we usually give in anyways. The menu has changed over the years, but the quality of the food has remained. The staff are very helpful with food and wine advise too. Their sister restaurant in the Italian Quarter in City Centre, is also worth going to. Lovely food, never disappoints.
