We came to the shop over the weekend. We knew what we wanted searched on website few days before. But we ended buying totally different sofa! We loved this one! It was a great deal as well! The girl in the shop was very pleasant and helpful answered all ours questions.

Don’t ever buy from this place. I’ve been deal with a problem with a bed frame I bought from them for weeks now and they just won’t resolve it. Honestly, don’t go here.

Never ever again!!! We went in and within half an hour had fallen in love with a suite. The sales assistant was young and mentioned she had only been there a few months. We had brought our small baby with us, and when I asked to use the baby changing facilities, I was directed to the ladies rest room… no changing table so resorted to changing her (on a mat) on the floor. I mentioned this to the sales assistant and she didn’t react at all.
We then waited only 4 weeks for the sofas to arrive… but they had the wrong feet on them. I then rang dfs the next day and after describing the feet as black and cheap looking, and that we had ordered ‘dark wood’, they ordered the dark wood. Within 2 weeks they arrived, I took a day off work to let a service manager in to change the feet, only to see they were the same as what were already on the sofas. After numerous calls over the last 8 weeks, I finally spoke to a manager that told me that the feet only come in light wood or this black, but they call it dark wood. Trust me, I’m not colour blind… these feet are black. I was basically told that I could like it or spend more of my money on the feet I wanted in the first place! I then mentioned that the sales assistant didn’t show us samples on the wood in the first place to which I was called a liar! I just presumed that dark wood meant dark colour and made from wood. The manager was extremely rude and should not be in charge of dealing with customers.
After dealing with the customer service and even management, I will be screaming from the mountain tops that no one should ever ever shop in dfs. They are a sham of a company with ill trained staff. They are very quick to swoon you into a sale and enjoy their commission but that’s where pleasantries end.

I can’t tell you what the quality of the sofas are like or if the delivery is any good because we never even got that far with DFS. We called in one weekend to look for a suite for our new house but they didn’t have anything we liked on the floor. I had seen one I liked on the website and asked one of the sales assistants if it was in the store, he said no but he could have it in next week no problem! I called on Thursday to check the sofa would be on the floor as we do not live locally to Blanchardstown and was told «yep it will be here tomorrow». We arrived in on Sunday and lo and behold no couch. The first young lady I asked to show me the sofa said «OH GOD, let me find someone for you» (I think it was probably her first day as a Christmas temp but you don’t shout OH GOD in a customer’s face no matter how young and new you are). The second assistant came out and practically shrugged at me when I told him that I had rung to check and I wasn’t best pleased the sofa wasn’t here. «Oh it’s in the system that it was to come out but it didn’t». He didn’t say «I’ll have it for you first thing tomorrow» or «I’ll do you a deal if you decide to buy for the inconvenience», he might have mumbled an apology I couldn’t hear it through how irritated I was. We had planned to spend a decent sum in DFS, nice work on costing yourself a sale guys.
