Is there anything as homely as sitting around a giant wooden dinner table with people whilst eating some delicious nourishing food? Considered offers a self service on the salad department with a small plate costing a meagre € 3.50. Coupled with some nice lentil soup you have a really great lunch time destination. It can feel slightly cramped but it almost adds to the friendly atmosphere of the place.

I LOVE considered! Placed in the heart of Dublin’s city center with it’s packed streets you can find considered in a side street, hence escape the busy traffic, the city’s hectiness and tourists. Homemade food with a daily changing menue reboosting your energy when you’re exhausted. The atmosphere is welcoming and very cosy. The big table in the middle forces strangers to sit together and eventually start to talk to each other. Who’s looking for a paradies in the middle of the center is absolutely right in visiting the Café.

Really lovely coffees and teas. The salads are amazingly fresh and delicious. They also have some lovely cooking equipment and accessories for sale. It’s a wonderfuly relaxed place to get away from the mad crush and rush of Grafton Street.

I’ve walked by this place a million times and finally stopped in when a friend was in town to visit. So relieved I chose here for our lunch meal. First off, the décor and feel of the place is just down right pleasant. I had a cappuccino and it was large and delicious, and to think I got the small size. My friend had tomato soup, also delicious. The soups are sumptuous, creamy, in a big bowl served with tasty bread and butter, and aesthetically pleasing. The have been doing a so worth it lunch deal where sandwich and soup are about 6.50. They also have a nice selection of pastries and cake slices, and you can purchase honey and tea and other items for your kitchen at home… and free wifi while you’re enjoying your coffee.

A café is judged by the quality of coffee in my books… The coffee was very nice. I’d put it in my top ten. So well done. My partner however, was very impressed with the design and feel off the store. She loved all the fittings and features. From the massive clip boards(which are pretty cool) to the mugs and baking bowls for sale. The place really felt like a mother’s hide-away. Confirmed by, the number of mother’s with children in there. But, that didn’t put me off and wasn’t a negative. The children were very well behaved. My partner said she’ll be returning with friends. So, well done. I think you’ve found a niche for woman café shops in a crowded market.

Went here with a friend who’s a real foodie so had high expectations… It was grand. Coffee was quite bitter, which I’m ok with but don’t love. We had a vegetarian toasted sambo which again, was fine, if a little small(but that could be the meat lover in me talking). We also had an orange & almond cake of some kind, which I didn’t love if I’m totally honest. But all in all very reasonably priced — less than € 14 for a sambo, cake &2 coffees. Something else I didn’t really love was the one giant table in the middle of the place — works for the place because it’s quite small so I’m sure it’s the best way to fit people in. Just not something I would be a fan of!

Fair play to Dunnes — this is promising. Five salads, four sandwiches, a hot pot and soup to choose between at lunch. Just across the street from Blazing Salads, so the salads had better be good. And they were. For about € 5, you can sample them all on a decent sized plate. The kale special, with carrot ribbons and squash was excellent. I was hungry, so added the braised leek and cheese toastie. It’s great. The pickles that offended fellow Unilocaler Gilly W have been abandoned. There was a teacup of slaw and it was a perfectly subtle match. No mayo/salad cream, just red cabbage and carrot, light sweet pickle. Yum. I may have been primed by the décor and the sun shining in the people watching window(they do watch back, so make sure to smile). But, all told, well worth a visit.

Youl be hard pushed to find a prettier café or a prettier cup of coffee Place is decorated amazingly love the look and love coffee here, a super talented guy called Daniel is the barista he just fell short of qualifying in the Irish barista championship this year but is sure to show face for next year, hes really passionate about the whole whole process. Opened up last Friday the the place has been jammers since, which is a great sign. Especially as it’s only a few doors down from Kaph. I’m still in awe of how pretty the place was and how amazingly the coffee was presented. Il do an update review once I been a few times but for now it’s the place I would recommend most to friends. Defo gonna be a hot spot !

Had a very interesting veggie hot sambo here the other day; three cheese and leek is what I was expecting, however there were pickles in there too which were a bit strong to be honest, and overpowered the lovely cheese and leek flavours! Pity. I’ll be back though to try out the others as the prices are reasonable(around the 5 – 6 euro mark) and the menu looks good, hot sandwiches mostly, but some lovely salads too including a fab looking kale one which was the special the day I was in. They also sell the Dunnes ‘Considered’ range by Helen James in store, and the shop has been fitted out really nicely with a large communal kitchen style table if you fancy sitting in for food and coffee. It fits in pretty well with the vibe of the street and is a good spot for getting little presents too, jams, chutneys, chocolate and kitchenware. Three stars for the slightly too vinegar-y pickle ladden sambo, but this could very easily be a 4 star once I get a chance to try some of the other offerings!
