On the positive side the eating area was very clean. Odering breakfast was an ordeal as most of the items on the menu were not available as apparently the menu had changed but they had not updated any of the actual menus. I ordered savory pancakes and coffee. I got extremely stodgy pancakes served with waifer thin bacon and feta cheese. …It tasted awful. The coffee was also like tar. A very disappointing experience and I won’t be going again. There was no high chair which is fine but worth noting for those with small kids. We didn’t complain about our food given the battle it had been to order the food we felt it was a waste of time. If your there for salads then it might be ok.

Excellent, fantastic variety of stuff to lob in with the salad. I got the Dublin Seafood one and it was incredible. Calorie count is also clearly visible on all dishes and you can order a bowl, sandwich or wrap of your chosen salad. They also do soup as well.

I had been hearing about chopped for about a year and I finally remembered when I was hungry and in the right place. Luckily I already knew what to expect because if you’re just dropping in it can be a bit overwhelming. They move very quickly which is great but puts the pressure on. I went for a house salad as a result but next time I’ll make one up myself I think. That said the BLT bowl was delicious with the garlic herb dressing. It’s not cheap but the bowl is massive and it’s quite filling. Besides healthy options are always a little pricier. The only complaint I have is that they don’t give you a fork! I couldn’t find any around the counters either, though I might just be missing it. I ended up going to Tiger and buying plastic spoons so I could eat it in Stephen’s Green. That aside, it was amazing and I’ll definitely be back.

Not usually a fan of salad but love this place for lunch. Great for a quick, filling take away lunch. Ingredients are always so fresh and great selection of dressings. Can order online now to beat the queues as packed everyday at lunchtime

Ordered in salad from these guys yesterday. Great service — if you can get your office to set it up, they set up a special corporate online link where you order your food before 11am and it’s delivered right to you at lunchtime. Whopper when the weather is freezing like it is at the moment. I made my own salad which was nice. I’d say this review is more of a 3.5 than a 4, but I felt a 3 was too stingy. Which brings me to my point. I paid an extra 1.50 to have minute steak as the meat rather than the included option of chicken or bacon etc. I could barely find the steak there was that little of it in there. Pretty poor show, and I have to say the rest of the ingredients though good quality were much too few and far between for me to be ordering regularly from these guys again. Others in work got wraps and sambos which looked like much better value so I may try those in the future.

Am absolutely obsessed with this place! Lovely fresh ingredients, great range of flavours and options, queue can look a bit overwhelming at lunch time but it goes really quick without impairing the quality. The staff have it down to an art. The only criticism I’d have is that when I order online the dressing isn’t mixed in and the ingredients don’t seem as well«chopped» but you can request it specially and they will oblige!

Poorly created sandwiches and salads. Employess continually touching their face and nose while handling food. In the end it’s about taste and has sorely missed the mark. Will not be going back.

These guys do basically sandwiches, salads, and wraps. They use fresh ingredients and although the menu seems simple, it’s actually delicious. I have had lunch here a few times now and I must say the wraps are by far my favourite thing to get. They do a brilliant chicken Caesar wrap which is followed closely by their Greek wrap. They also cater so my office often orders lunch here, which is an added bonus.

I’m a bit annoyed at having to give this place a negative review, because I loved the concept when I found out about Chopped online. You pick a salad combo or make up your own. The bowl of salad is the most expensive compared to either the sandwich or wrap. They chop the ingredients up for you and add the dressing of your choice. What annoyed me was that the service were slightly unfriendly/rushing me to make a choice even though I was only one of two customers in at the time, and I let the other person go first. If you have a menu as large as theirs, with like 30 separate ingredients to choose from, surely it’s understandable if it takes me a while to decide. I picked a combo from the menu, and my salad was supposed to include avocados, but there was not a single avocado to be found in it and I wasn’t told why. The salad was also about 95% leaves and 5% actual other ingredients, which was clearly them saving money and me getting a worse-value(not to mention duller-tasting) salad. It tasted okay enough in the end, but didn’t justify the 6+€ I paid for it. In conclusion, just because it’s healthy doesn’t mean it’s great, unfortunately.

There are not many places that I would walk 15 minutes at lunch time for — so this is getting 5 stars from me. Sparks all the taste buds with the several different varieties and combinations available. I got the chicken kebab with Cos, feta, beetroot, roasted tomatoes and pine nuts. Bread? What bread, didn’t even notice I was missing it. Please open more around Dublin. The queues are out the door.

In five words: takeaway salad, spoilt for choice. Someone arriving just after me remarked there was too much choice and left. Choose your greens, protein, veg and more, dressing and other crunchy/zesty bits to make one of more than 300 million different possible combinations. I did the math {5*12*[31*30*29]*12*17}. If that’s too much for you, grab a menu from inside the door on the right and make your mind up on a recommended salad as the queue very swiftly moves along. Better still, download their app or pdf menu and make you order or your mind up in advance. That’s what I’ll do next time.

Chop it like it’s hot !! Love the salads in chopped. Very fresh and so much choice. The portions are really big and I struggle to finish. They used to be very slow and there was always a massive Q but they seem to have worked that out and are much quicker now. My only complaint it they tend to «chop» the salad a little too much and if you take your eye off them you end up with coleslaw. The staff are super friendly and make it very easy to customise your salad.

This is a great place for a quick lunch or breakfast. If you go before 11am, you can get coffee for only 1.50 euro. They use really good products in their food, and each time I am quite happy with what I order. Usually I get the wholesome turkey chopped salad, and yes it is like 6 euros for a salad, but I was full after eating it. Just something to keep in mind, is that it does get pretty busy during the lunch rush, so sometimes it’s a good idea to pop in a bit before or after the lunch rush.

€ 6 might seem expensive for a take away salad but they are surprisingly filling. If you are after a healthy, feel good lunch then this is the place to go. In my experience the portions are generous. It is also quite the spectacle watching the salads being made! Rustic Bacon and BBQ Zesty Duck are my personal favourites.

Eating my to-go salad as I type — I chose the Spiced Chicken Asian Salad with the recommended thai dressing. Delicious! I had thought it looked bland but was proved wrong — the chicken is marinated so very flavorful and the dressing has a god kick. There’s a lot of ginger in the dressing so if you don’t like ginger, stay away. I had asked for the dressing on the side which was a good choice(it’s strong!) They«chop» the salad in front of you which in my opinion is awesome; I think I have an obsession with having the perfect ratio of greens, chicken, toppings on one spoon. :-p The salad also comes with some sliced bread which is yummy when dipped into the Thai dressing. Definitely coming back here as everything is fresh and flavorful. Service is really friendly and the prices are also very reasonable.

Chopped makes the cut as the best salad place in Dublin. Create your own from a veritable garden of options or pick one of the many House salads like Grilled Asian Spiced Chicken or Mediterranean Tuna. Outside the salad bowl, other healthy options include wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, juice, and fruit. The salad and modern décor(don’t miss the light fixtures!) are cool and crisp, but the service is warm and friendly. The portions are generously-sized, but the space is small, so the food is takeaway only. At Chopped, you can find Ireland’s 40 shades of green(s!) and a rainbow you can eat.

I had an amazing first visit to this establishment! I went in a little before 12pm so I could beat the lunch rush. While it was a bit slower, I had noticed that the head chef, Rory, was making his was around the establishment, approaching customers and walking them through the concept and the menu. At one stage, he came over to me and asked me if I had ever been in. Since I hadn’t, this was my first time, he explained the menu to me. You have 4 different types of lettuce to choose from for the base ingredient for your salad or a choice of spinach. There is a choice of 14 different proteins for your salad from tofu to ham, to tuna and chicken. All of the proteins are cooking in house. I believe he said there are 32 different ingredients that you can put in your salad, which are also made in house. The selection is huge! Roasted carrots, roast sweet potatoes, corn, Mediterranean veggies, beetroot, avocado, broccoli, pine nuts, and the list goes on. Finally, you get to dress your salad with your choice of 1 of 18 different fat free salad dressings. Once you have your salad complete, they literally chop your salad right in front of you! If you’re no good at making decisions, like myself, you can choose from one of about 15 different salad options that the chef has put together on the specially created menu, even including suggestions for the dressings that would pair best with the salad. If you choose to make your own salad, you choose your lettuce, one protein, 3 main ingredients and one dressing. If you want to add more to your salad, it’s 40 cent extra for each extra topping. The salads are extremely reasonable, ranging from 5.99−6.49. If you’re not into salads, no worries, you can put together any of these ingredients to make the perfect wrap or sandwich. The have soups, bread, coffees, and homemade smoothies for sale as well. If you want a healthy treat, they also have a few organic and low calorie granola bars for any cravings. Finally, something to feel good about in Dublin!!!
