I love this place both for convenience and quirkiness. It’s half Moore Street market, half corner shop but seems to manage to stock most things you might need. All the fruit and veg is in covered cabinets outdoors, along with the special offer sweets. The set-up reminds me of those caravans with an awning attached onto the side from my childhood. Maybe that’s part of the attraction! As Annie said, they do great special offers on fruit/veg and chocolates and it’s definitely worth popping in to see what’s on offer. Inside there’s a deli counter as well as the usual corner shop household products and food. And an ATM. Handy!

Love this place. It looks like it was designed by a child, but in a good way. Outside, there are loads of multipacks of crisps, biscuits, sweets and drinks at knockdown prices, many brands which I remember from my childhood but haven’t seen in years. Inside you get the usual grocery range, along with a few surprises, as well as a full butcher counter and top wine selection. Staff members seem not to want to kill themselves and it’s a good example of a independent shop taking on the multiples and winning.

This shop is located just off Griffith Avenue but it’s bargains make deviating of the main route worth it. It’s slightly bigger than a corner store but they always have amazing bargains on fruit, household supplies, sweets etc. They do a rolling promotion through the store, you could easily get your weeks supply of fruit for € 10 here.
