Hi, I’ve been twice in the past month. Once on a Saturday night for a 2 course meal and the other a thursday for dessert. Both nights the food was very good. My standout dish has to be the pecan pie. Wow it was fantastic slightly warm and served with ice-cream. They do a great deal mid-week 25euro for 2 courses. And the weekend it is quite a bit more expensive. I would go back again but maybe during the week.

I went to this brasserie while on business trip in Dublin. We were 9 and have been nicely welcome. The place is in a busy street of Dublin so easily accessible. The décor is nice and we were comfortably seated not far from the entrance(and we were not cold!) we ordered started, a shame they don’t do platter to share but we had houmous and a tart with goat cheese. Not easy to share but we manage to make it happen and it was excellent! The main… Lots of attractive choice! I hesitate between the burger and the fish. My choice was finally the fish and what a choice! It was a sea bass filet served with ratatouille, potatoes with pesto and a skewer with 3 prawns. I was happy to not have gone for the burger even if it look good but maybe too big after my eating so much starters and bread. Talking about the bread, they serve you massive bread’s pieces just cut from a massive piece of bread with butter! The bread was really good but careful, when you start it’s over and remember, you have ordered your main already :). Desert now, was not tempting by any to be honest. My colleague went for ice cream, cheesecake, etc. The combinations on each desert were weird or should I said not what you except. When I saw the desert, I am glad I did not have any, they did look like some industrial desert so no regret there! In general I found this place really nice, the waiter was nice and patient and I love my main meal! So an address to keep for when I will go back to Dublin!

One of my favorite places to eat when home in Ireland, have been many times for dinner and it never disappoints me. The staff are always super friendly and make sure you enjoy the experience. I have went with the same dish on my last two visits which was the fish and it was just delicious. They offer specials and early bird menus so there is something for everyones budget so kudos to them. Great service and always amazing food.

Have been here countless times for both brunch and dinner and it never disappoints! Poached eggs are always done to perfection, the salmon is fresh and a generous helping and they’ll happily swap out an English muffin for brown bread if you ask. Staff are always super friendly, one or two tasty waiters too! The one I had today was particularly lovely!

Brasserie Sixty6 has to be my favourite restaurant in Dublin. I get the same dish every time I come here because i love it so much. I always go for the butternut squash risotto. I think it’s safe to say this dish is in my top 5 all time favourites all because of the one served in this restaurant. The cocktails are to die for. I always get a white chocolate and passion fruit martini or an amaretto sour. Cocktails are half price on Tuesdays and Sundays! Until they remove these things from the menu, I will still be coming here as often as I get to treat myself or someone else out to a lovely meal!

Really exquisite in a Dublin brasserie to find such depth in sauce pairings. Went for the 3 course pre theatre: 1) duck confit exquisite creamy sauce with lentils cilantro and a touch of citrus 2) hake cooked to perfection the mushrooms add the perfect woodsiness to complement the fish 3) pannacota was absolutely amazing. Biased bc I really like forest berries but was the perfect tart to tang balance to the creamy texture of the pannacota. Loved it. Compliments to the chef and thanks Unilocal for the prosseco tip

My friend got a happy birthday text from Brasserie 66 offering her a free main course. Yay for freebies! We decided that I would order from the early bird(3 course at 25 euro) and we would share the starter and dessert. When checking in on the Unilocal app, I got an offer for a free prosecco. OHYEAH! They were so kind, and actually also offered my friend a free glass. Before dinner started they provided a huge piece of freshly baked bread for us to cut ourselves and smother in butter. Mmmm! The crab mousse starter was delicious, my main of hake perfectly cooked and the peanut butter mousse so lush, it was quality ! The A la carte menu for Brasserie 66 is ridiculously expensive though. Our fish dishes were around the 28 euro mark. I would only go here for the early bird, or if they have some special offer(they seem to do a lot — and often send me random emails with offers) Also, this restaurant is not intimate, it is buzzy, it is big, it is loud. It’s much better for big groups than two people dining.

Mostly awesome food, passable service! Came in for a pre show meal with my friend last night and took advantage of the early bird at € 25 for 3 courses. I started with crab and advocado mouse, which was ok, but far too heavily flavoured with grapefruit for my taste, and unfortuneately a bit of shell made it into the base — yuck! My main however was awesome. Perfectly cooked hake with baby potato in a light creamy sauce, lovely and the grilled little onions we ordered were excellent! Desert we shared, pecan pie and a peanut mouse, really really fab. And the chocolate ice cream they were served with was fab. Also half price cocktails of a sunday, win! Staff were mostly nice, but we must have had every last one serve us over the course of the meal and despite there being loads on we waited aaagggeeesssss for our bill and 2nd round of drinks. Still, id def give it another bash :)

Fantastic food! Perfect drinks! This is definitely a nice restaurant with fancy cocktails. The area is open and modern with lite music. It well kept and has a great, friendly staff eager to suggest menu items. They offer price fixe menus as well as a la carte. We had the filet and seabass. Both were elegantly served and cooked nicely. The filet had a garlic flavor with a nice seared taste. The sea bass was pan fried with some herbal flare. The mash was a little chivey but good. Overall, I’d recommend this place and I’d recommend reservations on the weekend.

I’ve been to Brasserie Sixty6 on and off for several years now but have recently found that they have been upping their game. They provide lots of different value incentives(early birds, loyalty offers, half price cocktails on certain nights) which would keep you coming back for more. They have a separate vegetarian menu that you can request which is imaginative and good value. They are happy to accommodate any additional requests and I have always found staff to be professional and friendly. On the one occasion that I was unhappy the matter was dealt with very graciously by the manager and as a result I have had no hesitation in returning. Most recently I went for dinner here with my boyfriend, and ordered cocktails(the cocktails here are incredible). We were left waiting for maybe fifteen minutes for them. The waitress arrived over without us asking and apologised for the delay in the drinks arriving. She informed us that they were very busy and gave us each a glass of prosecco to apologise. I thought that this was a very nice touch and feel that it’s little details like this that leave you feeling positive about a restaurant. This is the kind of place you can bring a date, your friends, your work colleagues, or your parents, and I think you’d find something to keep everyone happy!

Great place for dinner before the theater! Just a few minutes walk to see the show so it was a perfect place. We went early 5:30 and walked right in. He hostess was super friendly and seated is right away. I had checked in to Unilocal and noticed they had a special offer for a free drink. Since we don’t drink alcohol I asked for something with non alcohol and she graciously gave us three lemonades instead! Wow! Dinner we ordered off price fix depending on level. My hubby and I had steak. So tender and flavorful! Sides were good. My son had surf and turf. Very yummy! Waitress was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. After we were done, took us asking for the bill when we were ready to head out. That’s my only complaint. Would highly recommend this place!

Moseyed in here one lunchtime afternoon. The décor was fine, nothing too out there but it was clean and nicely lit. There was one waitress serving who was doing a good job keeping the few of us happy(I was here v. early so it wasn’t busy). The choice of food was fine but plain, I ordered the salmon fishcake with a salad. If you’re looking for a lunch/dinner that does what it says then you’ve come to the right place. I quite enjoyed the lunch and it was a nice portion size but it wasn’t anything too exciting. It cost € 10 which seemed about right. All in all it seems like a place that could try out a few new things to spice itself up a bit lest it get lost in the bevy of other restaurants/cafes offering better wares.

Hello Unilocal Check In Offer, thanks Basserie 66 for the complimentary Bellini, goes without saying it makes for a great way to kick off a great meal, with great company. Staff were very friendly, prompt they sorted us straight away… Put towards the back, never knew this place extended so far back and actually as this was all about getting to know a colleague of mine as well as chat and gossip the night away, the quieter area was perfect. Still not forgotten, we had our order taken with service throughout the night attentive. I opted for the fillet steak, cooked as expected all the accompaniments where so tasty, fondant potato was everything it should be soft/fluffy with the spinach and mushrooms adding great flavour. It came with pepper sauce which for me was over seasoned almost salty if I may say so, hold back a little and it would have been perfect. Next on my order was the peanut butter mousse, think snickers ice cream bar and you’ve got it… So naughty but so amazingly good :-) Everyone at my table really enjoyed their meals, in fact, the restaurant was chosen by my American colleague who’d been here before and it made a lasting impression she wanted to come back as soon as she visited this summer. Reservations for a fri/sat are a must, might get the odd walk in table but recommend booking in advance particularly for larger parties :-)

I had a lovely meal here the other day. I received a text message to claim a free main course for my birthday so obviously I wasn’t gonna pass up that offer. With a Unilocal check I also got a free glass of bubbly but there was two of us so my date got one too. The service was real friendly and prompt at first but we had to wait a good bit at the end to get the bill. The place was buzzing on a Thusday night so it got quite loud and conversation got a bit difficult but that didn’t take away from the great food we had. I started with the duck on lentils, it was heavenly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The monkfish on quinoa was my main, absolutely delicious. My man had a pork rotisserie dish with roast potatoes and a hazelnut side salad. The portions was so huge, we took half of it home. Good food, nice evening, solid 4 stars.

Came here for Sunday brunch with my mom and was quite pleased with everything overall. I ordered the fish cakes which came with a side salad, and my mom ordered the seafood omelette, and we were both quite happy with the taste and quality. The only thing was that the omelette was quite salty, but otherwise food-wise, everything was great! The prices were also very reasonable, everything was around 10~15 euro. I also checked in via Unilocal and were able to get a free glass of Prosecco, but as there was two of us, they give a free one to my mom as well complimentary which was really nice! The staff were very friendly and efficient, food didn’t take long at all, and the portions were very decent. The interior design was also pretty cool with all the nice decorative plates on the walls, and the atmosphere was great too. I’d put this place on my list of great brunch spots in Dublin, no reservation necessary either.

If it’s a weekend make sure you call ahead and make a reservation otherwise you aren’t getting in. The food was very good! No complaints at all! You get what you pay for as well. The portions were very big! I had the fried goat cheese appetizer along with the hummus and dips appetizer which was very tasty. I shouldn’t have ordered an appetizer though because I barely made a dent in my main course. I got the smoked bacon garlic and thyme rotisserie half chicken dish with potatoes and it was also very delicious! The service was good too. I even got a free glass of prosecco for checking in on Unilocal haha no complaints at all– I highly recommend

Some reviews don’t need a bunch of words. This place made us so happy when we were in Dublin. The service was great and the food memorable(oh and tasty, did I forget that?!) My fav was the duck — simply incredible and cooked just right. The potatoes served alongside still cause my mouth to water — super num num num. Dublin is a treasure trove of excellent eateries and this definitely ranks up there as a fun, casual spot with a good vibe and tasty eats.

Ate here on Saturday night, place was packed to the rafters and we had no reservation yet they managed to squeeze us in without a wait and even let us use an offer that my boyfriend had for a free main course for his birthday. I opted for the duck, while in birthday mode and fancying a bit of a treat, he went for the surf and turf. Sides of buttered cabbage with crispy bacon and sweet potato fritters caught our eye so they made it to the table too. The duck was beautifully soft and tender, marinated in a sweet sticky sauce, the confit leg, with its über crispy skin was the star of the show for me, and the zingy little grapefruit and pinenut salad that accompanied it cut through the sweetness of the duck really nicely. The duck fat roasties that came with the dish were soft and flavoursome, though they could have been crispier for my taste. The sides were both excellent, the cabbage and salty crispy bacon were a lovely addition to the duck, while the sweet potato fritters came ensconced within a light, herby tempura batter and were beautifully soft inside. Himself enjoyed the steak very much, though he thought the surf element added little to the dish, as the prawns were very bland. The accompanying wedges and guacamole went well together but he felt that some garlic butter for the steak and prawns could have elevated the dish –it lacked a little in the flavour department overall. All in all though, we left very happy, especially as his main course was free. The service was a little chaotic, and we felt that we were rushed a little at the start of the meal to get our order in, but seeing as it was a very busy Saturday night, I wouldn’t judge them too harshly on this. Would definitely return, especially to avail of a similar offer.

Visited here for the first time last night and most Definetely a fan. Pre-theatre dinner date with himself. We shared the tandoori oven wings to start and they were divine. So juicy but well cooked and the flavours were amazing. These came with mango, cucumber and yoghurt side dish that I ate with a spoon it was so nice! For main himself had the rostisserie half chicken which was gorgeous and came with roast carrots and parsnips, creamy mash, gravy and a stuffing ball! I had read the menus online before we booked and had already decided on the risotto but I couldn’t see it anywhere on the menu so I asked our(very lovely) waitress if it was available and she said«oh yes but it’s on our vegetarian menu, would you like To see that» it strikes me as odd to have a totally separate menu for vegetarian options, especially when they’ve made the effort of marking the main menu with a C for coeliac friendly dishes or CA for coeliac adaptable. I’m not a vegetarian but I would sometimes choose a meat free dish and im a sucker for a good risotto! The risotto was very delicious. Butternut squash and candied walnuts, topped with a pile of rocket. Gorgeous We both had chocolate hazelnut coffees to finish and shared a carafe of red wine. I got a free glass of Prosecco because I checked in using the Unilocal app! My only complaint(and this is something that bugs me wherever I go) is the tables are far too close together. It was really busy, which I would expect on a Friday in town but I hate sitting with my table 8 inches from the next, I feel like I’m intruding on the other couple beside us clearly on a date too!

Had recently read in a few places about this place which has been around for 10 years or more & so had to try it: on a busy Saturday without any pre booking we managed to get an early table for dinner. Staff were attentive and friendly. For starters the mackerel salad(unusual one to choose) was really good & the prawn skewers were nice. Mains we had were: 1) the rotisserie pork which was a very big portion — crackling on the outside and stuffing in middle — a tad over cooked for me — but as portion size so big I couldn’t eat it all. The baby potatoes were nice and the side salad was really fresh and 2) the duck which was beautiful but again a very big portion and it’s side salad also really nice. Overall if you are very hungry this place will fill you up with good hearty food.
