Upper scale on the greasy café scale ! If your looking for on typical Irish fry up with decent tea this is a great place ! Fill Irish is fresh, tastes and good portion size. Decent menu and not bad priced. Tables are very close to each other as small place but good service too. Well recommended if you looking for fry up,!

Among so many places to have a Irish breakfast, this is one of my favorite ones =) It is a very small coffee place that opens early and closes early too. It is just near the Fairview park, so you can go for a walk after all that eating! The food is great and the staff super cool. They have an interesting menu with many of sandwiches and paninis as options. It is always crowded during summer time but it is a lovely place to eat and have a coffee at Fairview area. Also a good chance to check Bram Stocker birth place.

I used to eat here, I still go sometimes because it’s not so far from home. It’s a local café, they serve Irish breakfast, scones, muffins, nothing fancy really. I like the paintings on the wall that are for sale, and for who doesn’t know, this place is near Marino crescent, where Bram Stoker was born.

Have lunch in Brams every Sunday. We always have a lovely meal. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. We are very lucky to have an upmarket Café in our area. Great to hear owner Jimmy on radio this morning giving a plug to name New Bridge after bramStoker who lived nearby. carmel

This is a great little café, it’s not the biggest or the best but the food is always tasty and the staff are really friendly. The Irish breakfast will keep you going all day & their BLT with cranberry is worth a mention too.

My car broke down in Fairview this morning, so while I was waiting for the AA I grabbed a sandwich in this café. It’s a bit plain inside but clean. Then again it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but a good local café. There is a pretty good menu of sandwiches, hot plates, specials and of course the obligatory full Irish. The breakfast looked really tasty, but I had to keep the waistline in mind. So I opted for the Bram’s Club Special(waistline???). It had cranberry sauce which was an unexpected twist, but a very tasty one. Stop in if your are in the area.

Brams does a grand Irish brekkie and on the weekends hordes of people with big hungover heads on them descend to hoover them up. So far, so profitable. However, the problem with Brams is that the tables are tiny, and if you and your companion both order the said breakfast, you literally — and I don’t use that word lightly — have to put the teapot on the floor. You then have to spend the rest of the meal worrying about a) kicking the bleeding yoke over or b) the boiling hot trap you have set for that approaching toddler.

Bram’s Café is named after Bram Stoker who lived nearby; the vampire theme ends there, though. No blood coloured soft drinks or Transylvania sandwiches or anything like that. I like that Bram’s is on the street that runs behind Fairview Strand; it’s a real quiet little street that you have to seek out. The food isn’t remarkable or anything — sandwiches and cooked breakfasts and such — but the coffee is decent enough so it’s worth a shot if you’re out Marino way.

This pretty little place is found up a side street. They have a very normal, typical café menu of sandwiches and breakfasts. There is nothing distinguishable from this café and the hundreds of others like it in the city. There is also nothing bad about it, but I would only go here if I was in the neighbourhood. Prices are average, 5−7euro for a sandwich.

Though Bram’s Café has nothing to do with Bram Stoker or his Dracula creation, it is a good little café offering full Irish breakfasts, coffee, snacks and a lunch menu. The prices are reasonable and the food is homely. Mainly staffed by students the café has a very casual feel to it which makes it a prime place to read over your meal or to lounge about.
